Joy Behar's joke about Arnold Schwarzenegger's affair with his housekeeper was reportedly received with boos by The View's studio audience. According to US Weekly, on Tuesday, April 29, Behar joked about the affair on the daytime talk show The View while the co-hosts were discussing British singer Olly Murs’ body transformation.

According to US Weekly, while talking about Olly Murs' body transformation and their preference in body types, Joy Behar shared that she prefers a "chunky guy" because,
"You have to be perfect if they’re perfect. I prefer a man who’s not perfect. I’m not perfect. I like them to be legally blind even. That helps."
Then, Behar reportedly added that,
"I mean, if you get a guy like Arnold Schwarzenegger, he’s going to leave you for the housekeeper anyway."
Unfortunately for Joy Behar, The View audiences seemingly disapproved of the joke as they reportedly booed at it. Co-host Alyssa Farah even intervened with a,
"Too soon! It’s only been 30 years!"
Though Behar was initially smiling after her joke, she exclaimed "What!" after hearing the boos. But, soon, she gave a shout-out to the few supporters from the audience.
"Thank you. My girls up there get it!"
In case you are not aware of the context, in 2011, Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's 25-year-old marriage ended after it was revealed (by Schwarzenegger himself) that he had fathered a child with their housekeeper, Mildred Baena, years ago. According to US Weekly, Mildred gave birth to her son, Joseph Baena, the same year, in 1997, that Shriver gave birth to her youngest son, Christopher. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.
