“That is true...”
When prodded about whether the couple strings lights up themselves, the host of the Armchair Expert podcast replied,
“I did. And then my wife made too much money and now I don’t.”

The Nobody Wants This star is reported to have a net worth of around $60 million and a combined net worth of $80 million with her husband as of November of this year.
More About Kristen Bell's Wealth
Bell's big Hollywood break with 2004's Veronica Mars was so well received, and she was soon a part of many high-profile projects like the hit NBC drama Heroes and major studio comedies, including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Fanboys, Couples Retreat, and When in Rome. In 2013's Frozen, her role as Anna was critically acclaimed, and the film became one of the most financially significant voice performances in animation history. For her second and third films, she earned $15 million and $20 million, respectively.

Besides acting, Bell's interests lie in entrepreneurship as well. In addition to investing in many startups, she and her husband Dax founded a line of vegan baby products in 2019, called Hello Bello. In October 2023, however, the company filed for bankruptcy.
Bell and Shepard have also invested in an array of real estate properties. The couple owns two residential apartment buildings in Los Angeles, which are managed by Shepard's sister.
The couple also owns a sprawling 4,400-square-foot home in LA's Los Feliz valued between $6-8 million, for which they paid $4.3 million.

Bell and Shepard also made headlines during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic when they publicly refused to accept rent to give their tenants a period of financial relief during the crisis.
