Late actress Shannen Doherty's estate has accused her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko of absconding with the money he owed to her.
As per US Weekly, trustee and executor of Doherty's will, Christopher Cortazzo, filed a petition accusing Iswarienko of not abiding by the terms set in their divorce settlement, executed a day before her passing, last year.
Going by their settlement documents, Cortazzo alleged Iswarienko had not listed a $1.5 million Texas home, co-owned by the estranged couple. The proceeds of the sale were to be split amongst them. Additionally, Doherty's estate also accused Iswarienko of not listing his artwork. As per the settlement, the late actress was to receive one-half of the licensing fees of his photographs produced during the duration of their marriage, ie, October 15, 2011, through January 15, 2023.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Iswarienko is a portrait and advertising photographer, currently based in Los Angeles.

Court filings reveal that, under the terms of the couple’s settlement, Iswarienko had agreed to buy out Doherty’s stake in a Mooney M-20 aircraft and to sell an associated hangar. However, her estate attorney, Christopher Cortazzo, revealed he had neither fulfilled those obligations nor did he pay the estate its share of $50,274. There has been no response from Iswarienko yet.
The producer-photographer negotiated the deal where he relinquished his claims on Doherty's $9 million Malibu mansion. Doherty also retained multiple bank and retirement accounts, her SAG producer’s pension plan, and a full interest in her production company.

Who got what
Receiving a seemingly sweeter deal, Doherty managed to retain all her premarital and post-separation income along with the royalties for her work in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed. Additionally, she claimed a Salvador Dali painting, a 1979 Ford Pickup Truck, a 2007 Range Rover and a 2019 Range Rover.
Iswarienko walked away with the plane, which he had to buy out of Doherty's interest, multiple bank accounts and several expensive music pieces. Iswarienko also secured his various companies for work.
