Skai Jackson's estranged ex and the father of her child, Deondre Burgin, has been hit with yet another arrest warrant.

TMZ has reported that Burgin has been charged with a serious crime for the second time in two months—this time for driving a car without a valid license. A warrant for his arrest was issued back in May, when he failed to show up in court for not renewing his license and "improper placement of the license plate in Cincinnati."

According to Blast, he was recently apprehended while washing his car at a gas station in Kentucky. Officers found the pending warrant against him after running his plates as part of a routine.

Deondre Burgin was last arrested on June 21, when reportedly, he and one other person accosted a man. At the time, they were near the latter's parked car in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the other suspect pulled a gun on the victim and demanded that he hand over his stuff.

According to TMZ, it is unclear if Burgin was also armed. The other suspect allegedly pistol-whipped the victim and snatched his keys with Burgin's assistance. They then stole the car, a Mercedes, though officials were later able to recover the car. However, a gun that was in the victim's name was reported missing.

Deondre Burgin, an aspiring rapper, shares son Kassai with Skai Jackson. They welcomed their son earlier this year, though the former Disney child star has since filed for a restraining order against him, which the court granted.

The 23-year-old reportedly accused her former boyfriend of being abusive. She recounted an alleged June 2024 instance where he got “jealous” that she received a text from some other man.

“He demanded that I drink bleach to kill our unborn child,” she penned in the filing, per the Los Angeles Times. “He then walked me to the car with a knife in his hand telling me to get in the driver seat and if I called out for help he would stab me in the stomach. He then called his friend ... telling him he was about to kill me,” Jackson alleged. “He then told me to drive to the doctor to get an abortion. When I tried to, he asked me was I crazy and why would I want to kill our child.”

He also claimed that she was subjected to abuse at Deondre Burgin's hands on a regular basis, noting that he even threatened her with a gun one time.

“He grabbed me by the hair, slammed my head on the back seat window of my car and hit me in the face while holding my son,” Jackson said of another alleged incident. “Deondre caused me to have a bloody nose. I don’t feel safe with my son being around him due to his violent history. He also said ‘F’ my child."

Skai Jackson also requested that the restraining order be extended to their son, noting that she does not feel safe with Burgin being around her or their boy.
