What did Maggie Thurmon say? Benson Boone-Kylee Anderson cheating allegations intensify following ex-girlfriend's comments

American singer, songwriter, and reality TV star Benson Boone’s ex-girlfriend, Maggie Thurmon, took to TikTok on October 14 and hinted that the Ghost Town artist cheated on her.

Thurmon, who is a TikTok model, actress, podcaster, and influencer, posted a video on the platform and lip-synced to a clip from the sitcom, The Office, where Pam asked Kelly:

“Remember how it felt when he cheated on you, though?”

Kelly, in turn, replied, “Which time?”

Subsequently, a follower commented:

“Bro, if Benson cheated, I will turn this car right around.”

Maggie seemingly confirmed the suspicion and wrote, “Put your blinker on, babe,” hinting that it was Benson Boone who was reportedly disloyal to her during their two-year-long relationship.

According to Betches, Benson Boone is rumored to have cheated on Maggie Thurmon with his childhood friend, Kylee Anderson. Boone is yet to respond to the allegations.

According to E! The Rundown, Benson Boone, and Maggie Thurmon unfollowed each other on Instagram in September. Around that time, they also unfollowed his close friend, indie pop artist, and Instagram star Kylee Anderson.

Before that, in August, Utah-based Anderson posted a song titled Benny on the platform. It is a nickname for Boone. In it, she sang:

“We said we’d be best friends / Now we make out in my Mustang all day / Might be more than just a friend.”

Not only that, but the guy in the music video resembled Benson, according to Betches. Later, in a comment, Kylee claimed that the track was about her “experience with my best friend”, who she “fell in love with.” Anderson added that her best friend ended up getting a girlfriend and expected her “to be friends with her.”

While it remains unclear when Benson Boone and Maggie Thurmon parted ways, in September 2025, TMZ reported that they were no longer together. Subsequently, the American Idol star hinted at a breakup at his Nashville concert during the ongoing American Hearts Tour:

“Sometimes people leave your life. Whether it’s the right thing or the wrong thing. And it is always hard, always, every single time. And it sucks. And it sucks to sit in it, and it sucks to be sad about it, and it sucks to feel that so hard sometimes. But it’s okay, it’s life. It happens."

" And as terrible as it is, there’s always something or someone who can pull you out of it,” Boone stated.

Meanwhile, Maggie Thurmon has since taken down the video in which she hinted at Benson’s alleged infidelity. However, responding to a fan’s comment on another video, she wrote that coming forward was overwhelming, and she realized why she usually maintains a “private” personality online. She also thanked her well-wishers for their love and support.

Benson Boone has maintained his silence on the cheating accusations.

Boone and Thurmon dated for over two years, according to Cosmopolitan. However, they went Instagram official with their relationship in March 2024. That same month, they were spotted at Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party. Later, they also attended movie premieres and the MTV Video Music Awards.

Maggie also supported Benson when he performed at the 2025 Grammys as well as on Saturday Night Live in May.
