American veteran actor Ramón Gerard Antonio Estévez, commonly known as Martin Sheen, has recently been in the news for criticizing President Donald Trump. While Sheen took a dig at the President for not doing his job properly, The West Wing star began to trend on various social media platforms following his rant against Trump.

The 85-year-old Martin Sheen, who is widely known for his extraordinary and critically acclaimed performance in Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 action war drama film Apocalypse Now, criticized President Trump during MSNBC's live event on October 13, 2025. The Emmy Award-winning actor, Martin Sheen, who is also the father of the Platoon star, Charlie Sheen, regarding Trump, said:

"You gotta realize, sir, that you are the biggest nothing in the world. Stop listening to all these people around you, these sycophants who are encouraging you to be your non-human self. Get in touch with that humanity."

The Wall Street actor Sheen continued and said:

"Stop fussing with your hair, don’t worry about your tie, and stand up straight and speak clearly, not from your throat. Speak from your heart and start being human. That’s what you were made for — not golf."

He sarcastically further added:

"So there you are, Mr. President, with all due respect, sir."

Martin Sheen also criticized President Trump's cabinet members

The Departed actor, Martin Sheen, who is a self-described Democrat and an activist, not only took a dig at President Trump during the October 13 MSNBC live event, but he also criticized Donald Trump's cabinet members. Sheen, while ranting about President Trump's cabinet members, said:

"Every one of those people look across the table and they do not see anyone who is better than they are."

Sheen went ahead and said:

Not to mention, Sheen also called him a liar and a selfish person. The Badlands actor, Sheen, who was a supporter of former President Joe Biden, also endorsed him for the 2024 re-election.
