Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have expanded their family by one!

The Stranger Things star, 21, and her husband, the son of legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi, 23, announced on Instagram that they welcomed a baby girl via adoption. As of this writing, further details like the child's name and exact age remain unclear, though a statement from the pair reads as follows:

"This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy." It continues, "And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi."

The news has since sparked interest in the actress's net worth, which, according to Celebrity Net Worth, is $14 million. She began her career in the acting industry at a young age, though her most memorable role is as Eleven in Stranger Things, which earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Millie Bobby Brown is also a model and entrepreneur in her own right, having launched her own beauty and skincare line, Florence by Mills, in 2019.

The Daily Mail has reported that Jake was seen pushing a stroller on July 20. Back in March, Millie Bobby Brown opened up about wanting to expand their family, noting at the time that she and her husband already knew 'how important' it was to them.

The two first sparked rumors of a budding romance in June 2021, when Bongiovi shared a selfie with the actress. Per People Magazine, they became friends through Instagram, and things cascaded from there. They tied the knot in May 2024.

During a guest appearance on the Smartless podcast, Millie Bobby Brown told hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett that although she was 'really young,' she was eager to experience motherhood.

'My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake,' Millie Bobby Brown explained. 'Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. And my nan, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life."

She continued,

'And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family for me personally. It's a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.' She added, 'And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I'm one of four. He's one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don't see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.'

She doubled down on her sentiments:

'My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we kind of stand by, Jake and I, is our energy in the house is the door is always open, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.'

Back in August 2023, Millie Bobby Brown spoke to The Sunday Times about the first time she spoke with the man who would come to be her husband:

“I was interested in him and wanted to know more,” she said. “As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
