Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum are joining forces to lend their musical prowess to an important initiative.
People Magazine has reported that Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum, both natives of Texas, announced that they will be hosting a benefit concert. All proceeds will be directed towards those impacted by the Texas floods, including the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation.
The Band Together Texas concert is scheduled for Sunday, August 17. It will be held at the Moody Center in Austin. Miranda Lambert, 41, and McCollum, 33, will be headlining the event alongside Kelly Clarkson and Cody Johnson, and fans can expect performances from Ronnie Dunn, Lyle Lovett, Randy Rogers Band, Lukas Nelson and Dylan Gossett, among others.
Fans have since begun wondering about Miranda Lambert's net worth, which, according to Celebrity Net Worth, is $60 million. She has several accolades to her name, including the most Academy of Country Music Awards won by a single artist. She also has nine studio albums under her belt, though she was first skyrocketed to fame following her appearance on USA's Nashville Star in 2003.

Country Town has reported that pre-sale tickets for the forthcoming concert go live on Wednesday, 23 July, at 10 am CT, and those interested can register for the same on the official event website. The general sale will follow suit on Friday, 25 July, at 10 am CT.
A recent report from CNN states that recovery efforts are still underway as of this writing, as about 100 people have yet to be found. The floods ravaged the banks of the Guadalupe River in central Texas on the Fourth of July, and images from the scene show search teams desperately scouring amid the debris and thick mud for signs of life.
Capt. Max McQuarrie of the Virginia Beach Water Rescue Team, whose team is lending in the search and recovery efforts, told in a statement:
“We have a long, long way to go to really thoroughly search this area. It’s going to be a slow, methodical process … to really provide the answers that everyone’s looking for.”
Miranda Lambert has also issued a statement regarding the concert, per Billboard:
“One of the things I love about both our artist community and our community in Texas is that we show up for one another, especially in times of such great need like folks in my home state are facing after the flood. There is so much devastation and loss, yet what’s given me hope are the stories of those that have come to the aid of so many."
Miranda Lambert continued:
"That’s what we want to do with Band Together: Texans helping Texas. We hope it is a night that helps with healing while raising awareness and funds for The Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country and the Central Texas Community Foundation.”
McCollum also chimed in:
“The flooding in the Hill Country of Texas is truly heartbreaking. This place and these people are my community. There is a long road ahead rebuilding, and even though so many families are facing the unimaginable, we’re Texas strong. Miranda is inspiring in both her music and how big her heart is, and I’m honoured to be joining her for this benefit concert to support our fellow Texans and share a night of healing through music.”
People Magazine has further reported that actors Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid will also be making appearances, alongside Mack Brown, the former coach of the University of Texas Longhorns, and players Emmanuel Acho, Colt McCoy, and Vince Young. Roger Clemens, a Houston native, will also be present, as will Chris Harrison.
A press release states that Band Together Texas will also feature "tributes to first responders and flood victims, including stories of rescue and resilience shared on stage by emergency personnel."
