Kody Brown revealed in the latest episode of the TLC show "Sister Wives: One On One" that he was quite different before his marriage, describing himself as being "Mormon naughty." Although he did not explicitly give the definition of the term, 'Mormon naughty' likely refers to engaging in acts of intimacy that are discouraged before marriage by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He rose to fame in 2010 with the TLC reality TV show "Sister Wives," which focused on his polygamous family. The family originally included Kody Brown, his four wives, and their eighteen children.

According to People Magazine, Kody Brown appeared on "Sister Wives" on 15 June, where he made a startling confession. In the episode, we see host Sukanya Krishnan questioning Kody Brown about his sexual experiences before tying the knot with his former first wife, Meri Brown. He replied,

“There were other options that got close. I was a little bit wild, but I wasn't. I was being Mormon naughty. It means I would kiss and hug, but no actual intercourse.”

To this, the host tried to further probe by asking exactly what he had partaken in before his marriage. She said,

"So that's like first base, second base, third base, and no home run."

Brown and Meri Brown were in a polygamous marriage for thirty-two years until their separation in December 2022. In his appearance on "Sister Wives: One On One," he further added that he no longer wished to reveal more about his past before his marriage to Meri Brown. He said,

"No home run. You know out of respect for my wife, I'm going to quit discussing this with you. You guys can act like it's the world's business.

Meri Brown is not the only wife to leave this polygamous marriage. Janelle Brown had also previously announced her separation from the reality TV star that same year. In addition to them, Christine Brown, who was Brown's third wife, had also announced her separation back in 2021, making her the first person to leave the polygamous marriage.

According to US Magazine, Robyn Brown, who joined the polygamous family in 2010, is still with Kody Brown, having legally married him in 2014. Janelle Brown, in her appearance on the Sunday episode of "Sunday Sister Wives: One on One," alluded to the fact that she might not have married Kody Brown if she knew better. She said,

"If I had a year with Kody, I'm not sure I would have married him, honestly. I might have seen him for a little bit more of who he was, you know what I mean? Gotten sort of off the charm ride."

According to People Magazine, on the other hand, Christine Brown questioned Kody Brown's relationship with Robyn Brown, saying that she has always doubted how close their relationship was before marriage, adding, "I wonder how close they got before they were married."
