Lyfe Jennings is shooting back at Muni Long's dig at him.
For context, Muni Long made headlines days ago when she randomly shared her feedback on Lyfe Jennings' 2004 track, Must Be Nice. In her seething post, she penned:
"Maturing is realizing Lyfe Jennings was really a hatin a** n***a…. ‘must be nice…’ is crazy.”
As of this writing, it remains unclear what prompted her to take a dig at him. However, Lyfe Jennings has since caught wind of it and wasted no time in throwing the shade back:
“Maturing is realizing that looking through a filter of trauma will have you seeing grey skies where there are only blue. Im still a fan miss long. Be blessed,” Lyfe wrote.

In other news, however, Muni Long, a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, recently opened up about the struggles of living with Lupus. She took to Threads by Meta to reflect on the symptoms of her illness, alongside a GIF that read "dis tew much."
"Lupus really be having EVERYTHING hurting. Like bro how tf I got on tights and they are hurting the skin on my legs. Like it’s throbbing down my leg," she penned. "I didn’t even know that was possible. Sometimes it hurts to have clothes on. And this is almost everyday I gotta deal with this. And people? It’s tew much."
For the unversed, Lupus is an autoimmune disease that primarily afflicts women. Black women in particular are three times more likely to be afflicted than their White counterparts. It leaves those affected with pain, fatigue, and damage to nearly every organ in the body as a result of the immune system attacking healthy tissues and organs.
Muni Long has long been vocal about her struggles with the ailment. Back in January 2023, during an appearance on the Black Girl Stuff podcast, she said:
"Lupus is a stress-related disease. It's a silent, invisible struggle 'cause you can't see it. You wake up in the morning and you look just fine, but you really feel like you got ran over by a train... There's a lot of different things that I've experienced with this diagnosis, everything from hair loss to skin rashes. Being in this business is vainglorious, so that affects my output so much. When I feel good, I look good, I produce well. When I feel like crap, and I gotta go out... Even something as small as someone touching my arm, it hurts. But I gotta smile, and I gotta talk to people when I don't feel like talking."
