The Cuban actor and model, who married Jennifer Lopez in 1997 and divorced her the following year, is reacting to the star’s candid remarks on The Howard Stern Show. During the interview, Jennifer Lopez suggested that none of her former partners had truly loved her.

As reported by Complex, Ojani Noa took to Instagram on Friday (October 18) and accused the actress of portraying herself as a victim.

“The problem [is] not us. Not me. The problem [is] you, you the one who couldn't keep it in your pants. You have been 'loved' a few times. You have been married 4 times. And have had countless relationships in between. You have had good relationships.. Me for example,” Noa wrote.

“I'm an amazing, loving person, great human being,” he said, adding that he had been “honest, faithful,” and “never lied” or “cheated.” He claimed he had even moved out of state to “support,” “protect,” and “care” for her, before describing himself as “too good of a [man]” for the pop icon.

Noa further alleged that Jennifer Lopez's desire for “fame and fortune” had destroyed their relationship.

“You decided to lie, to cheat on me and even though I stayed,” he wrote.

The personal trainer also added that Jennifer Lopez had “begged” him to keep their marriage together to avoid “bad press.”

“But you, you [went] for the fast last of your career/stardom not caring about me, you wanted to continue cheating and lying. I couldn't stay and deal anymore with the constant lying, that's why I left you, that's why I divorced you,” he shared.

He ended his post with asking Jennifer Lopez to “tell the truth for once,” declaring,

“You should be embarrassed, ashamed of [yourself].”

Ojani Noa opened up about his early romance with Jennifer Lopez as he recalled their Miami love story in 2022

Long before Jennifer Lopez’s high-profile marriages to Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, and Ben Affleck, she was married to Noa. Speaking to The Daily Mail in 2022, Noa reflected on their short-lived marriage and how it all began.

“I was the first, the pioneer,” he said.

Their story started in 1996 when Jennifer Lopez, who was in Miami filming Blood and Wine alongside Jack Nicholson and Michael Caine, stopped by the Estefan-owned restaurant Larios On The Beach. Ojani Noa, then a waiter, was immediately taken by the actress.

“She was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen, she had an incredible body too. She still does,” he shared.

Jennifer Lopez returned to the restaurant the next day and asked Ojani Noa to serve her table through her assistant.

“She didn’t really speak Spanish and my English wasn’t that good at the time, but we would talk and laugh together,” he recalled.

Their connection grew quickly. Jennifer Lopez invited Ojani Noa to the film’s wrap party, and from there, sparks flew. Though she was based in Los Angeles, they kept in touch, starting a long-distance relationship. Ojani Noa also recalled his efforts to stay in touch with the pop sensation.

“My phone bills were crazy, but we got to know each other more,” he shared.

A few months later, in February 1997, the couple tied the knot in Miami during an intimate backyard wedding. Despite the fairytale start and romance, their marriage lasted less than a year.
