Blake Lively criticized Perez Hilton for sharing over 500 videos of her in a negative light.

The actress has since accused the media personality of refusing to respond to the subpoena her legal team issued, as her legal struggles with Justin Baldoni rage on. Shortly after Hilton posted a derogatory remark on Threads about the actress, which reads as follows:

"Ku Klux Khaleesi takes this round!"

Per the New York Post, Lively has alleged that Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira Jr., shared 540 “disparaging” videos and posts relating to her. She claims he did so without ever hearing her side of the story.

“These posts generally regurgitate messaging that appears to be prepared by others,” she said. This statement was included in the court papers her lawyers filed in Manhattan federal court recently, per the outlet. The Post has further reported that Blake Lively has accused Perez Hilton of using slurs against her. She claims he used “mocking” epithets such as “Blackface Blake,” “Lying Lively,” “Ku Klux Khaleesi,” and “Litigious Lively.”

Everything we know about Blake Lively's allegations against Perez Hilton

NewsNation has reported that Perez Hilton pushed back on Blake Lively’s actions by filing for a protective order, which she has since taken action against. Her lawyers filed a motion on Wednesday in the Southern District of New York, petitioning the court to deny the media personality’s motion. She also petitioned for the court to mandate that Hilton “respond and produce materials” pertaining to the subpoena.

The New York Post has reported that Perez Hilton filed papers just last month. He did so in a bid to prevent Lively from sharing journalists’ and influencers’ personal addresses while subpoenaing them. He told the outlet in a statement that he has no involvement in Baldoni’s alleged smear campaign against her. He added that all his posts are based on his own opinions.

“I was not part of any smear campaign against her,” Hilton said. “I was not working on behalf of anyone. I was not paid by anyone. After reading Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit against her and his first amended complaint, my opinions and support shifted,” the influencer said.

He also claimed that his work is protected by laws for journalists, and argued that since he resides in Las Vegas, the issue should be handled there:

“She is asking me for information that is privileged,” Hilton said. “She is also asking me for information that she could and should obtain from the parties in this case, the Wayfarer defendants, not from me — a nonparty to this litigation. I did nothing wrong,” he concluded. “I am not afraid of Blake Lively.”

However, Lively has reportedly slammed Perez Hilton’s argument, instead claiming that he isn’t a journalist, despite his claims:

“On his various Platforms, Mr. Hilton does not hold himself out as operating as an independent journalist, nor does he purport to follow any of the tenets of independent journalism.” Lively’s lawyer said. “Since August 2024, Mr. Hilton has posted more than 500 videos, 400 headlines, and hundreds of other comments about Ms. Lively on his various platforms, and his Website includes a tab on its landing page and an entire subpage dedicated to Ms. Lively.”

Her lawyer continued,

“Mr. Hilton has made no secret of his lack of independence — he does not, for example, reach out to Ms. Lively or her representatives for comment prior to publishing. Mr. Hilton is in the business of shaping narratives for clicks and profit, not informing the public. That is not the kind of work that [the law] was designed to protect."

Blake Lively is demanding that Perez Hilton turn over all the documents requested within a week, though the court has yet to rule on this.
