Comedian and actor Roseanne Barr has reportedly made critical comments about Donald Trump amid the Epstein controversy. The recent public feud, or rather tweets feud, between Trump and Elon Musk has led to a wave of controversial comments. In a recent tweet by the latter (@elonmusk), he took a dig at the former for not releasing convicted s*x trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein's infamous "Epstein files."
Roseanne Barr (reportedly a former Trump supporter), took to her X channel and addressed the recent controversy. She wrote,
"Mr. President- Yes, we still care about Epstein. Is there a time to not care about child s*x trafficking? Read the damn room."
These comments followed Trump's Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, after he reportedly shrugged off a reporter's questions about Jeffrey Epstein, per Time Magazine. He said,
“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years, Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable. Do you want to waste the time?”
Roseanne Barr thrashes POTUS Trump amid ongoing controversy
Roseanne Barr has reportedly joined others, including Elon Musk, in thrashing Trump for allegedly putting "Epstein Files" to rest. The comedian followed up her tweet with another one and expressed disappointment. She noted,
"I have slowly walked away from social media because it’s obviously just a brainwashing machine, but between Epstein, Nazis and Texas floods it’s hard to stay quiet."
She added,
"The best thing you can do is spread love and then leave. Don’t come here to argue with evil people. It’s not good for anyone with a soul. Let the Nazis have their social clubs. We have family, life and love."
Roseanne Barr's tweets about Jeffrey Epstein come after Trump's cabinet meeting, where he asked journalists to focus on other "successes" and tragedies, including the "Texas" floods. Many, including Elon Musk, have reportedly asked about the "Epstein Files", especially after an alleged memo from the Department of Justice reportedly noted that there will be no further investigation due to "insufficient evidence."
