As per a recent article by US Weekly, renowned actor Ryan Phillippe was recently sued by a woman who claimed that her hair got burned at the actor's restaurant in Los Angeles.

As per the publication, a woman named Jody Sanders is dragging Phillippe and his business partner, Jeffrey Best, for general negligence at their Beverly Hills restaurant.

As per CelebrityNetWorth, Phillippe has a net worth of around $30 million.

As per documents obtained by US Weekly, Sanders was sitting in Phillippe's restaurant 'Hideaway' at the bar on April 06, 2024, when the accident took place. Sanders claims that her hair caught fire from an unattended wax candle placed on the bar's surface. Sanders is seeking compensation for her damages, though the amount is not specified.

A source told US Weekly that Sanders' claims were already settled a year ago and that Phillippe is a minority investor in the restaurant.

“Ryan Phillippe is a minority investor in this restaurant and is not involved in day to day operations. It’s not clear as to why he’s listed in this lawsuit as he’s one of many minority investors and not one of the owners,” the source told US Weekly.
