Former reality TV star and influencer Savannah Chrisley seems to be pondering her career aspirations. On the November 25 episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah sat down with her father Todd Chrisley, to discuss a range of topics. The conversation began with Savannah’s travel plans, during which Todd shared his preferences as well.
He then asked his daughter about her further plans, saying:
“A lot of people message me about is she or is she not going to run for a public office? Like I had a message last night from someone that you know um that said, ‘Please tell me that Savannah is going to run because we need someone of her caliber in office.’”
Savannah Chrisley, who has a net worth of $500 thousand as per Celebrity Net Worth, responded:
“I mean, I appreciate and love comments like that that come from people. And you know what I say, never say never. Who knows what's going to happen. I knew that right now in my life, it was not the time because when you run for public office and you do it the right way, you're divesting from everything, right? I'm not doing that right now.”
She said she would like to focus on her brand, “GoodGirlRx,” and see how it performs. She mentioned that many people from the administration told her that she could use her voice to be “effective on the outside.” Savannah Chrisley opined:
“Also I have a voice that 95% of the politicians don't have. So, I can use my voice. I could go on a Fox, a News Nation, whatever it may be, and use my voice that way.”
Savannah Chrisley talks about Nancy Pelosi and Linda McMahon
Savannah Chrisley said that if her business goes the way she expected, she hopes to run for public office. Todd Chrisley suggested that she could be like Nancy Pelosi and walk out with $300 million. Bursting into laughter, Savannah said:
“Yeah. Exactly. Right. If only it worked that way. It did for her, but for most it doesn't. So, and if I do it, I want to do it the right way. I'm not looking to be another Nancy Pelosi. I want to be known for all the good things I've done and not cheating the system or if I'm going to be a politician, I'm going to challenge people and I'm going to do it the right way.”
Savannah Chrisley also said:
“You have to be a voice for the people that are looking at you to be a voice for them, right? And we need more women. I mean, when I was sitting next to Linda McMahon at on a panel, just sitting next to her and feeling not just feeling the power that she has that radiates off of her and her confidence and but she and she's a woman and to see she built an insane company.
Savannah Chrisley explained that unusual opportunities often came her way. She said that if something new showed up at the right time and place, she would go for it. She felt she was meant to do something in politics, either by running for a public office herself or by using her fame to support someone else. She wasn’t sure what exactly it would be, but she stayed open to it.
