Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance explored:
As pointed out by the Los Angeles Times, just weeks before they took the next step in their romance, they celebrated another milestone when Taylor Swift finally made an appearance on her boyfriend and his brother, Jason Kelce's podcast New Heights. Per the outlet, it was this podcast that saw Kelce make a move on the songstress in 2023.
In the latest episode, the songstress said that her romance with Kelce “is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.” During the segment, she announced her forthcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
NBC News has reported that rumors that the two were dating began after one of the Grammy-winning artist's Eras Tour performances in Kansas City, Missouri. Shortly after, Kelce took to his podcast to note that he wanted to speak with the singer backstage, but it didn't work out.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets,” Kelce said. “And I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
The 14-time Grammy winner caught wind of his moves, and she told Time magazine in 2023 that she found the move "metal as hell." Not long after, the pair struck up a romance, and Swift has since been spotted several times at her beau's games, including the 2024 Super Bowl, which the Chiefs won. The pair commemorated the night with a kiss on the field before erupting into celebrations.
