Comedian Pushpek Sidhu shared his thoughts about Priyanka Chopra’s recent interview, where she was asked to choose between Indian and Mexican food items at the red carpet of the premiere of her latest action film, Head of State.

However, Sidhu seemed critical of her responses. He reacted to the video by sharing his live reactions to her answers. The interviewer asked Chopra to choose between Enchiladas and Chicken Tikka Masala. She took a while before answering. Pushpek Sidhu’s reaction was:

“What are you waiting for?”

However, the actress told the interviewer:

“That’s tough. They are both really good.”

Sidhu reacted:

“Pick a damn side. What are you, Switzerland?”

The interviewer asked if she wanted to go with both options. Priyanka Chopra said she did not know if that was a plausible response, but she would like to go ahead with it. Her first question was to choose between Empanadas and Samosas, but she paused for a while to answer. Sidhu reacted with:

“What are you waiting for? Just say Samosa.”

Chopra said it depended on her mood, which took Sidhu by surprise. She said she loved both food items. Shockingly, Sidhu said:

“You know what, we listen and we don’t judge. Please continue.”

Then, between Hot Dogs and Vada Pav, Priyanka Chopra chose Hot Dogs. However, Pushpek Sidhu didn’t seem too happy with this as he angrily asked why she wouldn’t choose Vada Pav. Chopra told the interviewer:

“I love vada Pav but Hot Dog’s my weakness.”

It looks like the interview on the red carpet was taken by Chriz Ortiz as Pushpek Sidhu tagged him in his reaction video on Instagram. The video was posted by Pero Like. It's caption read:

“The mesmerizing Priyanka Chopra played our iconic game This or That on the New York world premiere red carpet of her new movie ‘Heads of State.’”

What did Priyanka Chopra say about her NYC restaurant, Sona?

In 2022, Chopra sat down with ABC’s Nightline for an interview about her new restaurant, Sona. She explained that the restaurant didn’t focus on just one region of India because she grew up in different parts of the country.

The actress wanted the menu to include familiar classic dishes along with creative options, like truffle dosas. At the same time, the restaurant also offered well-known favorites such as butter chicken from North India. Priyanka Chopra said:

“I just want to revolutionize South Asian culture in America because that was that was so important to me. When I went to high school in America, I really felt less.”

She continued:

“To me, as an Indian who came from India and has is moved into this adoptive country, I really wanted to revolutionize just thinking about Indian differently. It's not one thing. It's the most diverse country in the world.”

Priyanka Chopra discussed how food played a big role in bringing people together in South Asian culture. She mentioned how growing up, there were always relatives, friends, and neighbors around, creating a strong sense of community and support.

She also shared that although "South Asian" is a word that connects many people, everyone within that group is quite different, but those differences are what make the community strong and unique.
