Actor Eric Christian Olsen and his wife Sarah Wright are celebrating the birth of their fourth child. The couple recently announced via social media that Wright gave birth to a daughter on June 17.
Eric Christian Olsen and Sarah Wright tied the knot in summer 2012. The couple married in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, after dating for around five years, as per Hello Magazine.
At the time, Olsen opened up to People Magazine about his relationship with Wright, and said:
“You hear people talk about cold feet, but there was never a moment of doubt with Sarah because no one makes me happier, no one makes me laugh more, and I can’t imagine a better mother for our future children.”
Olsen’s dreams about starting a family with Wright came true a year later, when the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Wyatt Olivier. Their first daughter, Esmé Olivia, was born in 2016. Olsen and Wright’s second daughter, Winter Story, was born in 2020.

While announcing the birth of their fourth child, the couple also revealed the name of their daughter, and wrote:
“She’s here!! Ocean Rain Olsen born 6/17 12:37am - 11 pounds 4 ounces.”
While thanking their medical team, Wright also expressed gratitude towards actress Nikki Reed, who documented the birth. Wright wrote:
“Grateful beyond words for our amazing team that helped us get her here safely during an incredibly complex birth. Cannot wait to share all the details of this day. @ericcolsen photos 2 and 3 by @nikkireed who stayed with us all night to document this day.”
Sarah Wright announced in February that she was expecting her fourth child with Eric Christian Olsen
In late February, Sarah Wright took to Instagram to share that she and Eric Christian Olsen were expecting their fourth baby. Alongside photographs of the couple with Wright’s growing belly, she announced:
“BABYYYYYYY it’s been wild today on @themotherdazepodcast @teresapalmer and I talk about baby #4 coming this summer!”
Wright also spoke about her pregnancy during an episode of the podcast she co-hosts with Teresa Palmer, The Mother Daze. While sharing a glimpse of her baby bump, Wright provided insights into her pregnancy. Wright also opened up about suffering a pregnancy loss in July last year, and said:
“I feel like I've been pregnant for a very long time because I was pregnant. And then wasn’t, but only for like a month…the night that I like found out that the baby didn't make it, I felt this weird peace, like, this is going to happen again really really fast, right. So, and it just needed to, this needed to happen because this baby wasn't healthy and this soul is going to come right back in.”

While speaking to Palmer on The Mother Daze, Wright also reminisced about the difficulty her family endured when their house burned down in the LA wildfires. Back in January, Wright wrote on Instagram about her and Olsen’s children’s reactions to their house burning down. At the time, she wrote:
“We lost our home. It was one of the first areas to go. Our kids have said ‘we all took our first steps there.’ It’s so hard to say goodbye to our gorgeous town, our special school and this place we have loved for 13 years.”
NCIS: Los Angeles' Eric Christian Olsen also expressed his feelings at the loss of his home, and as per Hello Magazine, said:
"I do take moments to digest, to acknowledge and authentically process what is lost — for me, that doesn't come with tears. BUT, I have been perpetually blown away, eyes pooled, tears racing by the kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity of our friends, family and complete strangers."
While mourning the loss of their home, Sarah Wright and Eric Christian Olsen also emphasized that the family remained grateful.
