Rachel Zegler's role in the West End production of Evita continues in London along with the cast, which also includes her new love interest, in addition to praising her fellow cast members, the 24-year-old actress, who plays the lead in Jamie Lloyd's production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic at the London Palladium, also revealed her new love interest, Nathan Louis-Fernand.
During the production's rehearsals in May 2025, Zegler and Louis-Fernand "formed an instant connection," according to a source who told People Magazine. The actor is known for his roles in movies like Magic Mike Live and Hamilton.
The British actor soon became a part of her life. In July, they were seen together at a Sabrina Carpenter concert and other events around the city.

On August 25, she added a photo of the two on her Instagram story with the caption:
“And you get to see @nathanlfernand tonight?!? palladium audiences you are so so so so lucky.”
Rachel Zegler publicly praised him, referring to him as "the best of the best". She added three hearts along with it.

Zegler also paid tribute to Bella Brown, her understudy, who filled in for Eva Perón for her last scheduled show. She wrote on her Instagram stories:
“Today is bella's last scheduled show as Eva. Sharing this role with her has been the most wonderful experience of my life and i just love her so much. beyond proud of everything you've accomplished on this job, my sweet @bellaelupiabrown - get out there and smash it one last (scheduled) time.”
She even urged the palladium to show her love:
"Palladium audiences, give her the biggest round of applause! she certainly deserves it."
Brown had stepped into Zegler's place in July when Zegler had to quit midway as she fell sick.
Brown took to her social media:
“Today really showed just how important swings and covers are within this industry."
Gal Gadot blames ‘pressure on celebrities to speak out against Israel’ for the box office failure of Snow White
Rachel Zegler had already received negative comments when she was cast as Snow White. After the release of the movie's trailer, she wrote on her socials on August 12, 2024:
"and always remember, free palestine."
The post stirred mixed reactions. Nonetheless, Zegler did not relent from using her platform to speak up on the matter. She views it as her "duty". In an interview with i-D, she said:
“There are obviously things that are at stake by being outspoken, but nothing is worth innocent lives.”
She added:
“I think a victim mindset is a choice.”
Recently, her castmate from Snow White, Gal Gadot, implied that it was Zegler's political views that contributed to the movie's poor box office results. During her interview with The A Talks, as reported by The Jerusalem Post, she said:
“First of all, I have to say that I really enjoyed filming this movie. I even enjoyed working with Rachel Zegler. We laughed, we talked, and it was fun. I was sure that this movie was going to be a huge success.”
She continued:
“And then October 7 happened, and what’s happening in all kinds of industries, and also in Hollywood, is that there’s a lot of pressure on celebrities to speak out against Israel.”
She finally concluded with:
“I can always explain and try to give people in the world context about what’s happening and what the reality is here, but in the end, people decide for themselves. I was disappointed that the movie was greatly affected by that and didn’t do well at the box office.”
Rachel Zegler will soon be seen in the comedy-drama She Gets It from Me alongside Marisa Tomei.
