When did Sean Evans start Hot Ones? Keke Palmer reportedly kisses the host after learning about his crush

Keke Palmer has showed Hot Ones' Sean Evans some love.

The renowned actress, 32, made her third appearance on the show on its September 19 episode, where she referenced Evans' previous admission of having a crush on her. Palmer, who was promoting her movies The Pickup and Good Fortune when she told Evan, 39:

"And then there's one more thing I'd like to say, Sean, because I saw an interview where you said, like, I was your favorite guest, you know, and all this really sweet stuff." She continued, "And I know we've just had some wings, but I thought that maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there's a spark."

Evans, who interviewed Keke Palmer on the show in 2017 and 2021, quipped, after she planted a kiss on him:

"When I'm dying and my life flashes before my eyes, I'll have that snapshot."

As for Keke Palmer, she echoed the sentiments when she declared to an applauding crew,

"The spark was sparking."

For the unversed, Sean Evans debuted his Hot Ones show on YouTube in March 2015. The show sees its celebrity guests being interviewed by the talk show host as they munch on chicken or vegan wings that get increasingly spicy. As of this writing, a total of 380 episodes across 27 seasons have aired.

Per The Independent, Keke Palmer was referencing Sean Evans' 2023 appearance on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date. At the time, the latter asked him if he “ever had a crush on a guest," to which he replied affirmatively.

She then began probing for the name, prompting him to confirm it was the former Disney child star.

“Very charming, she’s a very charming woman,” he said at the time.

The actress later shared the video on Instagram with a caption that read:

“It was love at first hot wing — this was too kind @seanseaevans.”

Per Entertainment Weekly, Keke Palmer acknowledged Evans' crush on her during her conversation with People Magazine last year, when she said she felt the "good chemistry" between them:

"I was living for it,” Palmer gushed last year. "Not to say that I was surprised or I wasn't surprised. But when I heard it and people were sending it to me, I was like, 'I knew the vibes were vibing.'"
