As fate would have it, the Rockstar employee who leaked GTA 6 details to Adin Ross in 2023 before any trailers dropped was right all along, and fans cannot stop poking fun.
At the time, Twitch and Kick streamer Adin Ross interviewed a guest on his livestream who claimed to be a former employee of Rockstar Games—the creator of GTA. At the time, the employee claimed to possess "all the juicy details" about the anticipated game.
Now, seeing as the trailer for the 6th installment dropped recently and many of the details match what the individual said all those years ago, eagle-eyed fans can't stop laughing. Here's what one user jokingly penned on X, for instance:
"Where is bro now"
The comments didn't end there:
"Bro there better be 500 missions in this game," one impatient user quipped.
"This is just sad... If you work in a big company that trusts you and gives you work, why do this?" someone else questioned.
"Watching this clip reminds me of how unhinged and funny Adin used to be," another reminisced.
"Can he just leak the game please?" a fourth user jokingly begged.
Even more joined in on the ongoing discourse:
"Looks like the leak was spot on after all," one user pointed out.
"Crazy how that leak flew under the radar for so long and now it’s spot on!" another noticed.
"He was a employee no shi," someone else shared.
"bro just made a hypothetical guess," one user jokingly posited.
Alas, only time will tell just how spot-on the former employee was in the end, anyway.
Adin Ross claims he's a part of GTA 6: Here's what we know
Rockstar dropped the first trailer for the forthcoming, hotly anticipated game this past December, a day before it was slated to go live. Fans were able to get a closer look at Vice City, including its beaches, nightclubs, and the two new characters.
Shortly after, Adin Ross took to X to claim he would be playing a cameo in the game. He also alleged he would be seen in the second trailer, which dropped just yesterday.
“I’m in GTA 6. I can’t speak much about it, but you’ll see later on throughout the year in the next trailer,” Adin wrote at the time. “Either way I’m blessed, and thank you to Rockstar for giving me an opportunity to have something to do with the greatest game ever.”
Adin Ross doubled down on his sentiments in a recent livestream when he told fans he was in the game but couldn't reveal much more because he signed a "bunch" of NDAs. At the time of writing, this news remains to be confirmed.
