Where is Kelly Ripa this week? All about the Today host's absence from her show

Renowned talk show host and actress Kelly Ripa has been missing from her immensely popular talk show Live with Kelly and Mark this week. Ripa and her co-host Mark Consuelos, who are a married couple, have been hosting the show together since 2023. The 54-year-old Ripa, who has been one of the permanent co-hosts of the talk show since 2001, was replaced by rotational guests, who filled in for her.

Kelly Ripa, who married the Riverdale alum, Mark Consuelos, in 1996, rose to prominence after starring on All My Children as Haley Vaughan and on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith as Faith Fairfield. Ripa and Consuelos also share three children: a daughter, Lola, and two sons, Michael and Joaquin.

Host of the comedy quiz game show Generation Gap, Ripa, who has been hosting the syndicated morning talk show for over two decades now, in an earlier interview with Entertainment Weekly, talked about how she always thought of retiring. However, when Oprah Winfrey appeared in one of the July 2025 episodes of her podcast, Let's Talk Off-Camera with Kelly Ripa, she provided career advice to Kelly Ripa and said, "It's not time for you to step away."

While fans of her famous talk show and the netizens are curious about where she is this week, Kelly Ripa has been absent from the show because she is on summer vacation, according to People. The veteran talk show host, Ripa, has been wanting to take a break for a long time, as she has been quite busy with a bunch of things, including the July 29 premiere of her and Mark Consuelos' brand-new ESPN docuseries Running with the Wolves.

According to ESPN, the docuseries revolves around Ripa and Consuelos and narrates the story of their journey together as the owners of an Italian football team.

Besides Ripa, who is absent from her talk show this week, as she is enjoying her summer vacation, even her husband and co-host, Consuelos, also took a break last week. On the July 29 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa informed the viewers that the reason Consuelos was absent was because he was in Los Angeles working on a show.

Just like other guests who filled in for Ripa this week, last week, guests like Jerry O'Connell, David Muir, Steve Patterson, and Carson Kressley filled in for Consuelos. However, with Consuelos currently hosting the show with other guests, Kelly will be back on the show on Monday, August 11, 2025, as per People.
