Comedian Roseanne Barr recently opened up about her quiet Texan life to Fox News and US Magazine. The comic decided to sit for a couple of exclusive interviews years after a troublesome controversy killed off her sitcom character before she could make a comeback to television.
The former Roseanne star expressed that despite facing minor setbacks like an accident involving a tractor, she enjoys the outdoor experience and lifestyle that her place offers.
Currently, Barr is residing at her Hill Country Ranch, which is owned by her son, Jake Pentland. Barr's son, Pentland, revealed in an interview with US Weekly on April 9 that Roseanne is currently living with him, his wife, and his two daughters.
While no information is disclosed regarding how long Roseanne Barr has been residing with her son in Texas, Petland described the 30-acre Texan property as "lush" with "purple and yellow wildflowers growing all around". In addition to this, he also confessed that Barr has been the "best grandma".

In her interview with Fox News, Roseanne Barr revealed information about an unfortunate incident that took place while mowing the property. She was caught trapped in the tractor after she ended up knocking down a tree while mowing.
"I'm doing a lot of mowing. I've got a really fantastic tractor out here, and I'm mowing. The only problem is I don't clear the trees quite as good as I should, and I'm always hitting a tree and knocking it over, and it always hits me in the head."
She further gave details about her injuries and how a tree that weighed around 100 pounds also added to her pain.
"So, I've had several injuries recently. I had this one tree, I guess it was two nights ago, I knocked it and a great big old branch fell right on my head and trapped me in my tractor. So I knew I had to get out of there, and it weighed about a hundred pounds."
Barr revealed that she was proud of herself for lifting the tractor and tree above her. She further mentioned that despite the incident, she would like to continue living in Texas and mowing her lawn like always.
In a previous interview, Barr's son had mentioned Roseanne Barr's plans to move to Palm Beach, Florida. Barr clarified that she has no plans of leaving Texas in the most recent interview.
"I love it down there. I really do, and I was considering doing it, but then there was this one day that was so damn hot. And I [was] just like, 'I think I'd rather burn in hell than live here in the sun.' It was so hot. I mean, Texas is hot, too, but oh my God. I like to go to a place where you can smoke cigarettes in the summer. I couldn't even smoke a cigarette over there, and I can't have that."
Roseanne Barr is busy writing scripts and gearing up for the release of her new documentary, Roseanne Barr is America, which is scheduled for release on June 10. As per a release, the documentary is about Barr's upbringing and her career in comedy and television.
In the year 2018, Barr's racist tweet about former U.S. President Obama's white house advisor, Valerie Jarrett, caused a massive controversy. It backfired and affected her career, which led to ABC removing her from the sitcom Roseanne.
