Adam the Woo or Adam Williams, was a popular YouTube creator who documented videos of filming locations from beloved movies and TV shows. Woo started his YouTube channel in 2009 and has created videos for at least 10 years. Williams has died at 51, and his death was confirmed by his father who mentioned that he was found dead in his home on Monday in Celebration, Florida. Details about Adam's cause of death were not shared.

A spokesperson for the Osceola County Sheriff's Office told TMZ that deputies were first dispatched to Adam's home around 12:24 PM local time on Monday for a well-being check. As per the spokesperson, deputies were unable to make contact with the person living inside. A friend grew concerned and borrowed a ladder to look through a third-story window, when he saw Adam lying on a bed not moving. Deputies later entered the residence alongside Fire Rescue and pronounced Adam the Woo dead.

Adam the Woo was well known for creating Disney-related videos where he explored several Disney World locations and abandoned places that were once used as film sets for Disney movies. His YouTube channel has over 400,000 subscribers, and his second YouTube channel, The Daily Woo, has over 744,000 subscribers. In his videos, Woo visited antique stores, roadside attractions, movie and TV film locations, abandoned buildings, sites, historical places, and haunted or unusual buildings.

Woo reportedly made videos of locations in all 50 U.S. states and also walked around town, took road trips across the country and attended various conventions and baseball games in his vlogs. His last YouTube video was posted on December 21, and filmed on December 20. In his final video, he can be seen showing his yard decorations and walking around Celebration, Florida.

Why was Adam the Woo banned from Universal Studios?

In 2017, late YouTube creator Adam the Woo was banned from Universal Studios for filming inside two abandoned buildings on the premises.

The YouTuber captured the moment when he was escorted out of the theme park by a guard. In 2019, Dynasty Gould created a petition on Change.org. requesting Universal to lift the ban. Dynasty revealed that Adam filmed the closed Triceratops Encounter and the old Nickelodeon studios building inside the amusement park in July 2012.

Gould argued that the Nickelodeon building was not prohibited for the public and that recording was also not prohibited. Gould also highlighted several other videos on YouTube that had earlier captured the building.
