On January 6, the veteran Hungarian director Béla Tarr passed away following a long-term illness. The popular film director, who became the founding father of the slow-moving cinema genre, died at the age of 70. As per reports, the European Film Academy announced the demise of the director. She helped Tarr to understand how things would unfold in the editing room and which takes would complement others.In 2007, she co-directed The Man from London with Béla in the starring role. The Man From London made its Cannes Film Festival debut in competition that year.The Turin Horse, which she co-directed once more, debuted at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival in 2011.
