Who is Aimee Osbourne? All about Sharon Osbourne’s daughter as she steps out in rare public appearance

As Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s children, Kelly and Jack, became household names through their MTV series The Osbournes, most people are unfamiliar with the fact that the couple has an elder daughter, Aimee Osbourne. Aimee is 41 now and has largely evaded the public attention that came to her family in the early 2000s, instead choosing to pursue a more subtle path in the arts and music.

Aimee Osbourne is the first child of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and was born in 1983. Unlike her siblings, she chose not to participate in The Osbournes from 2002 to 2005 as she wanted to focus on her personal life. Reflecting on her decision in a 2020 interview with The Independent, Aimee stated,

“Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life. So why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?” She added, “I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.”

That choice definitely had an impact. Aimee Osbourne moved out of the family home when she was only 16, coinciding with the start of MTV filming. Her mother Sharon, confessed on The Talk in 2018,

"She hated the idea — it was appalling to her. And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did. It broke my heart when she moved.”

Even with the friction it created, Aimee continues to persist in her goal to have a life free of public evaluation and judgment.

Aimee captured the news once more after her uncommon public appearance on June 9, 2025, in Manchester, where she looked sotunishingly different with a slimmer figure. She was spotted exiting a hotel alongside Wes Leavins, the Brigitte Calls Me Baby lead singer, with whom she is reportedly touring in the UK. Her reserved demeanor continues to highlight her remarkable wish for privacy in the midst of a celebrity family.

Aimee is the frontwoman of the alternative pop band ARO, which was formed after her initials. She has been working on her music career ever since her debut single Raining Gold came out in 2015. In the interview with Cleveland.com in 2021, she elaborated on her artistic undertakings.

“I started writing, secretly, as a teenager. I also would write a lot of poetry — I was always creative in that way, less academically inclined.”
