Alex Bruesewitz has cleared the air about rumors that he held hands with Nicki Minaj earlier this week.

In some videos circulating on X, Bruesewitz, who serves as an advisor to the president, seemingly holds hands with the rapper as she makes her way to the UN. However, the former retweeted one such video shared by Daily Mail reporter Charlie Spiering on Wednesday, asserting that he was simply accompanying Nicki at the time:

"This is completely fake news. Please share the full clip for context, I was simply assisting @NICKIMINAJ in crossing the road because she was wearing heels that didn't seem easy to walk in. We weren't "holding hands" at all. She's married, and I'm engaged! SMH."

For the unversed, Alex Bruesewitz is a provocateur cum political tactician, as described by the Times. He serves as a senior figure at the President’s PAC, helming its social media presence and arranging Trump's meetups with celebrities and appearances on popular shows.

Nicki Minaj thanks Alex Bruesewitz for inviting her to back President Trump:

Nicki Minaj made headlines earlier this week when she took to the stage at the UN to back President Trump's claims about the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria. The meeting was arranged by political advisor Alex Bruesewitz, who, in a tweet, lauded the songstress for her efforts.

“@NICKIMINAJ is not only arguably the greatest female recording artist, but also a principled individual who refuses to remain silent in the face of injustice. I’m grateful she’s leveraging her massive platform to spotlight atrocities against Christians in Nigeria, and I look forward to standing with her as we discuss the steps the President and his administration are taking to end the persecution of our Christian brothers and sisters."

Nicki Minja echoed the sentiments as she thanked him for the opportunity, saying,

“Ambassador, I am so grateful to be entrusted with an opportunity of this magnitude. It means more than you know. The Barbz & I will never stand down in the face of injustice. We’ve been given our influence by God. There must be a bigger purpose.”

Earlier this month, President Trump issued a threat against Nigeria after he accused its government of "allowing the killing of Christians." The Daily Mail has reported that rumors suggest that jihadists have been systematically targeting Christians, claiming the lives of over 100,000 people since 2009.

However, these figures have yet to be verified. The Nigerian government has also dubbed these claims 'a gross misrepresentation of reality'.
