NHL player Noah Dobson and NASCAR sports reporter Alexa Serowik have tied the knot!

People Magazine has reported that the 25-year-old ice hockey defenseman tied the knot with Serowik on Tuesday, July 1. Also known as Canada Day, the Canadian athlete and his bride held their nuptials in Newport, Rhode Island, at St. Mary's Church. Their reception followed at Rosecliff Mansion.

"It’s wholeheartedly been a fairy tale and dream come true. Noah tops the list in that respect. It feels like I’ve come full circle in Newport from going to the mansions as a child, to reporting there, to now marrying the love of my life there," Alexa Serowik told the outlet. "The whole thing is a fairy tale."

For the unversed, Alexa Serowik is a news reporter who began her career with ABC6 News in September 2020. She worked there for two years before joining Providence Bruins as a Rinkside Reporter and Host, though by 2022, she joined Nascar as a Team Reporter cum Content Creator.

According to her LinkedIn, however, she quit after 3 years and 6 months, and has since founded her own startup, Alexa Serowik Hair. She also boasts over 160,000 followers and 2.5 million likes on her TikTok account, where she shares insights into her personal life.

Here's everything we know about Alexa Serowik and Noah Dobson's wedding as the Canadian hockey player gets traded into an eight-year contract:

According to People Magazine, Alexa Serowik and Noah Dobson kick-started their pre-wedding festivities with a "preppy New England" welcome party at Clarke Cooke House. They had their wedding the next day, which was attended by about 200 guests.

"We leaned into reds for Rosecliff," Alexa Serowik said of their reception. "Red roses, red linens, red lighting, and additionally some bright pops of hot pink florals and greens mixed in. We wanted to create a modern Gatsby party at the original Gatsby movie mansion and also tie in our July 1 Canada Day in the USA for Noah."

The two met on Raya in January 2022, a dating app exclusively for celebrities.

"Both of us were on a flight so we ended up chatting the whole night on the app," Alexa Serowik recalled of their first encounter. "I was flying home to Boston from Miami after covering the Patriots versus Dolphins game with ABC6 and he was flying back to New York from a road trip with the team. After weeks of a lot of FaceTiming, texting and talking on the phone, I visited him in New York — I was based in Boston at the time — and the rest was history."

Dobson proposed to her just last year, over two years after they began dating, while they were on the beach at Prince Edward Island. The pair is now looking to move into their island home, as reported by People Magazine.

The sportsman made headlines just this week, when the New York Islanders traded him to the Montreal Canadiens' forward Emil Heineman. While he was previously a restricted free agent, he is now signed to an eight-year, $76 million contract.

“Once conversations started with my representation we tried to work on finding a deal and staying on Long Island," Dobson said, according to NHL. "That was always the goal to start but unable to find any common ground on that. And at some point we just felt it would be best to go in different directions and look for a trade. And I’ve got nothing but great things to say about the Islanders organization and my time there. Truly I love those guys and wish them nothing but the best moving forward. But at the end of the day, things like this happen, and to be coming to the Montreal Canadiens is super exciting for me, and I have a fresh start here and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Per the outlet, Noah Dobson also got candid about his thought process before signing the long-term contract:

"Without hesitation a no-brainer for me." He added, "Just the opportunity to be part of the Montreal Canadiens, it’s an honor. It’s the best hockey market in the world. The fans are incredible. I love playing at the Bell Centre, and just also the group of players they have already and the talent they have on that team and what they’ve been building. I’m just super excited to join that group and add to it, and excited about what we can do down the road here in the future.”
