Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, also known as Afa Ah Loo, was a renowned Samoan fashion designer who was fatally shot at the "No Kings" protest in Salt Lake City on June 14, as per the Salt Lake City Police Department. Ah Loo had appeared on Season 17 of Project Runway and was also a guest on Fox 13's The Place multiple times.

The "No Kings" protest was a demonstration organized on June 14, the same day as the US Army's 250th Anniversary Parade and the 79th birthday of Donald Trump, and was held to protest against Trump's policies and actions during his second presidency.

Police noted that Ah Loo was an "innocent bystander" at the protest and died despite efforts by paramedics to save his life.

He was allegedly hit by a stray bullet shot by a "peacekeeping" volunteer at the protest. Two members of the Utah House of Representatives, including Rep Doug Fiefia, took to social media to share their sadness for Arthur Folasa Ah Loo's death, saying,

"My prayers are with his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was a bright light in our Polynesian community and will be deeply missed. May his loved ones feel peace and comfort during this difficult time."

Rep. Tyler Clancy said,

"Afa was a wonderful man & father who looked out for his community. Sending all of the love & prayers."

Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, or Afa Ah Loo, was a Samoan fashion designer and Utah resident, as per reports. According to channel2now.com, he was born in 1986 and was of Samoan descent, living in Clearfield, Utah.

Suspect in the shooting incident, Arthur Gamboa, 24, who was dressed in all black clothing and wearing a black mask, has been taken into custody. The SLCPD, mentioned,

"As officers approached, community members pointed out a nearby firearm, which was described as an AR-15-style rifle. Officers also located a gas mask, black clothing, and a backpack in close proximity. The items were collected and processed by the SLCPD Crime Lab."

The police noted that upon investigation, two peacekeepers saw Gamboa move away from the crowd and move into a secluded area behind a wall. They also saw Gamboa pull out an AR-15-style rifle from a backpack before manipulating it. When the peackeepers fired their firearms and ordered Gamboa to drop the weapon, he instead lifted the rifle and began running toward the crowd at State Street, while holding the weapon in a firing position.
