Aydan Nix is the younger half-sister of Gigi and Bella Hadid, who was introduced to the world in a statement to the Daily Mail. She is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Duff, who was born during the couple's "brief romance."

The recent revelations made by the Hadid sisters on Thursday have certainly piqued people's interest in Aydan Nix, although not much is known about her as she chooses to lead a relatively private life.

Aydan Nix, who is now twenty-three years old, was born in 2002 to parents Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Duff. According to the statement made by Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, the former couple met shortly after Mohamed Hadid's divorce from their mother, Yolanda Hadid.

According to the statement issued by the sisters to Daily Mail, Alana had no idea about her possible link to the Hadid family and was raised by "the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19.” It was after her father's passing that she took "a genetic test out of curiosity,” when she learned the truth about her biological father.

Aydan Nix is quite close to her mother, Terri Hatfield Duff, who works as a Senior Mortgage Consultant. In February 2023, Nix posted a series of pictures on the occasion of her mother's fiftieth birthday. She wrote how her mother had inspired her to be kind, adding that she calls her mother four times a day, and she is always there to listen to her.

"My mama is turning the big 50 today and she’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever known and ever will know. she is generous and good hearted even when no one is looking. she taught me to be empathetic and loving and soft. she’s one of the funniest people I know. sometimes I call her 4 times a day. she always answers the phone. she’s so smart. she could do whatever she wanted but spends all day everyday helping people. she’s resilient and strong. she’s my rolemodel and my best friend."

She further added:

"There are few people in the world who get me like she does. she held me up when I couldn’t myself and helped me become a person I could be proud of being. she’s never made me feel anything less than loved. i love my mama more than words or an instagram post or a bouquet of flowers or a hug can ever express. i love you to the moon and back mama. thank you for teaching me what a strong, beautiful, unapologetic woman looks like. you are perfect and I couldn’t dream of a better mom. I am so proud to be your daughter. i can only hope to one day find a way to express how thankful I am for you. happy birthday."

Her mother replied to her post by saying,

"Babygirl!!!! You are my dream come true. I love every single ounce of you. I'm so lucky to be your momma. God truly blessed me. Thank you for being my bestie."

According to the Daily Mail, the Hadid family met Aydan Nix in 2023 and welcomed her as part of their extended family. The statement read:

"We first connected in late 2023, and from that moment on, we’ve embraced Aydan with open arms. She’s spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family."

It further added:

"As siblings, we’ve had many open and loving conversations— with Aydan included —about how to support and protect her."

According to her LinkedIn profile, Aydan Nix pursued a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Design at the Parsons School of Design, from where she graduated earlier this month.
