Who is Caitlin Estell? Bobby Bones wife reportedly expecting first child

Social media personality Caitlin Estell, who is married to Bobby Bones, recently announced that they are expecting their first child together. According to People Magazine, in their joint announcement that was made by the couple on September 24, they posted a picture in front of the mirror, with the country radio show host hugging Estell from behind.

The announcement comes four years after Caitlin Estell and Bobby Bones tied the knot in July 2021, in a private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family, after first meeting back in 2019. The couple began dating shortly after meeting and announced their engagement in 2020 on Instagram. At the time, Bones shared:

"I am the luckiest. I waited so long for the right one. And it payed off. Surprised her with a secret proposal in the barn in the backyard. After she said yes, our song 'nothing left to lose' by Mat Kearney was playing outside. And it was @matkearney playing it. She said it was at Mat's concert during this song that she knew I was the one for her," Bones explained.So lucky he played it again for only us tonight. I'm so happy I get marry to love of my life."

Caitlin Estell, born Caitlin Parker on February 4, 1992, grew up in Oklahoma with her two siblings and parents. She later attended college before pursuing pursuing a Master's degree. According to People Magazine, she graduated in midst of the pandemic and was not able to attend her ceremony. At the time, she had just started dating Bobby Bones, who had organized a special ceremony at home to celebrate the milestone.

Caitlin Estell met Bobby Bones, whose real name is Bobby Estell, on the set of the ABC show Dancing With The Stars. The five time ACM Award winner was visiting to meet his friend Laura Alaina, who was competing that year. Caitlin Estell, on the other hand was there to visit a friend who worked as a public relations executive on the show.

In a 2022 interview with People Magazine, Bobby Bones, revealed that it was Caitlin Estell, who had taught him how to be vulnerable. He said:

"It's been awesome to actually have someone that I can learn to be a bit vulnerable with. I really struggle with that and spent a lot of time in therapy with that."

Bones further reflected on his marriage to Caitlin Estell, saying:

"She's smarter than me, [and] I've really never been in that before. So, now I've learned that when I'm in an argument, and I know I'm losing, I just go, 'Well, I'm not even going to talk anymore because I've just had it.' But really that means I'm not going to talk anymore because you just dominated me in this conversation and I don't want to admit it."

When the couple began dating in middle of the pandemic, it was Caitlin who made the decision to move from Los Angeles to Nashville, where Bobby Bones resided. Reflecting on the move in an interview with City Lifestyle, she said:

"I went from having a normal life, with only my friends following me on socials, to moving to a city where my husband is very public. I don’t think you really know if you like something until you experience it. I wasn’t used to feedback about myself from anyone who didn’t know me, and I hadn’t yet built up the muscles to turn a blind eye to those opinions."

In the interview, Caitlin Estell also opened up about seeking therapy after experiencing an unspecified traumatic childhood event, and said:

"When things got hard, I knew I needed to talk some of this out. I thought, ‘I can’t take this home to Bobby every night.’ He’d lived this life for so long. A lot of the things that would really rock me were so normal to him that he couldn’t fully comprehend why I’d put so much stock in other people’s opinions. But I’ve never had strangers say things about me before. This world is wild, and I needed help."

She further added:

“I think another reason I needed therapy was about losing my identity. Most of the time, my husband’s job makes him the main character, and I needed to figure out, ‘Who am I beyond a supporting character?’ I was always introduced as Bobby’s something, his girlfriend or fiancée or wife."

This will be the couple's first child. They are also proud parents of their beloved dogs, who played an integral part in their 2021 wedding.
