Crocodile Dundee legend Paul Hogan’s son, Chance Hogan, has caused concern among fans and media after a series of worrying social media posts and erratic behavior and public appearances that have left many wondering about his welfare.
Paul recently spoke about his son's difficulties, expressing a mixture of concern and frustration. Chance was born to Paul Hogan and American actress Linda Kozlowski. He is their only child from their 24-year marriage.
According to the South China Morning Post, The couple got married in 1990 after meeting on the set of Crocodile Dundee but eventually got divorced in 2014. Although the two split up, both parents remained active in Chance’s life.
Chance is the youngest out of the five children of Paul, who was previously married to Noelene Edwards and shares kids with her. Chance was born and raised in Venice Beach.
Professionally, Chance Hogan is an amateur musician. He is the lead singer for a Los Angeles-based punk rock band, Rowdy P. He also formerly operated a food-related Instagram account under the handle @chancesmunch, where he used to publish recipes and reviews. But the account has not been updated for years.
Earlier this year, Chance Hogan posted a video of himself on Instagram stories in which he seemed intoxicated and pleaded with the viewers, saying, “Please kill me.”
"This is my life. This is what it's been reduced to, Please. Please kill me. I'm begging you." He said in the video.

Chance Hogan’s Instagram story was accompanied by a series of other cryptic and disturbing posts—including cryptic countdowns and disturbing photos of self-harm. According to Sky News, he has also posted disturbing images of spray-painted hair and fingernail damage.
Paul Hogan, 85, has spoken in a recent interview on Today about the fears and concerns over his son. Paul jokingly said that Chance is a “terrible person.” Paul stated that his son may be putting on an act to gain more attention.
"He's a terrible person because he knows [media are] watching him, And he puts on something for them." He said.
According to Sky News, a family friend stated that the reason behind Paul staying here in the US rather than heading back to Australia is due to his son’s condition.
"One option would be to move back to Australia, but Chance doesn't want to leave America, So they're stuck in limbo, which is so hard on Paul and very hard for his friends to sit back and watch." The source said.
