Christina Salgado made her mark in the reality TV world through her role in Season 9 of Bad Girls Club, a hit Oxygen series that aired in 2012. Known by fans as “The Sultry Spitfire,” Salgado brought fiery energy to the season. Christina Salgado was later removed in episode 7 following an altercation with castmate Rima.

Born on February 1, 1990, in New Jersey, the reality star is of Puerto Rican descent. Her debut on national television quickly made her a standout in the show’s lineup.

A resurfaced video featuring Bad Girls Club alum Christina Salgado has picked up steam on X, after she claimed she once ghosted none other than LeBron James. In the interview clip on TROYCETV, Christina Salgado recalled a moment that left many viewers stunned.

“It is a true story, LeBron James waited at the airport for like three hours, I never showed up,” she said.

She claimed the decision was made after learning about James’ marital status, something she said she hadn’t been aware of at the time.

“I know most girls would have hopped on that flight and they would been sweating it and I was like, yeah no bro I found out you're married, I didn't even know,” she explained.
“I don't watch sports first of all, anyone who knows me knows that I don't watch sports so I didn't even really know who he was.” she added.

Christina Salgado also emphasized that she had professional obligations to focus on at the time.

“He's married, I was like oh no this is gonna ruin my image. And I was like working with John Mayer at the time doing music, so I had my own stuff going on.”

LeBron James met his wife Savannah when they were teens

LeBron James and his wife Savannah have long been considered one of the NBA’s most grounded couples. As reported by People, their love story began in Akron, Ohio, when both were still teenagers. Savannah, then a high school sophomore, was just 16 when she first connected with LeBron, who was a year older and already making waves as a rising basketball talent.

In a interview with Cleveland Magazine, Savannah remembered that LeBron had shown interest through a mutual friend. Instead of giving out her number, she decided to take his.

“One day I'm sitting around — I was probably bored or something — and I'm like, 'Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy that I can call,” she said.

The relationship quickly evolved, from a group hangout at Applebee’s after one of his games to a one-on-one dinner at Outback Steakhouse. The two eventually married in 2013 and are now parents to three children.

During the ESPY Awards in 2023, where James was honored for breaking the NBA all-time scoring record, he used his moment in the spotlight to shine it on his wife, Savannah.

“If any of y’all know her… you know she doesn’t ever do s— like this, ever,” James said

He continued:

“And the fact that I’m loving it that y’all get to see the queen that I live with every day. Kudos to you, baby.”

LeBron ended the emotional tribute by acknowledging Savannah’s strength behind the scenes.

“For our family, no one has sacrificed more and more hard work to support this family more than you and I appreciate you for that, love you.”
