Nick Kyrgios addressed his recent split with Costeen Hatzi via his Instagram story, People Magazine reported. The 30-year-old tennis player was answering a fan's question during an Instagram Q&A session on June 11, where he addressed his split and shared that "things happen" and wished the best for his ex-girlfriend.

Nick Kyrgios is a 30-year-old Australian tennis player. He reportedly split with his girlfriend of four years, Costeen Hatzi, in March 2025. Costeen Hatzi, 25, is a social media influencer with an Instagram following of about 177k. Katzi and Kyrgios dated from 2021 to 2025.

Coming to Kyrgios talking about his split with Hatzi, on June 11, the tennis star took to his Instagram stories for a Q&A session with his fans and asked them to "ask whatever" and to "not hold back," People Magazine reported.

According to news.com.au, one of the questions asked was,

“Will you ever talk on the split with C or keeping it private?”

While answering the question, though he did not get into much detail about his split from Hatzi, Kyrgios answered that,

“Things happen. I wish her nothing but the best. So many incredible memories that will stay with me.”

Meanwhile, previously, Hatzi shared with The Daily Telegraph regarding their breakup that,

“It’s been great... I’m still going on with work and I have a few different brands that I’m working with at the moment.”

Costeen Hatzi, who lives in Australia, graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychological sciences from Australian Catholic University in May 2021.

Hatzi, who has about 177k Instagram followers, shares OOTDs, days in her life, and back when she was with Kyrgios, she also used to share snippets of them or show support for the player, South China Morning Post reported. Other than being a social media influencer, Hatzi is also a business owner. In 2023, she started a venture called Style Studio, which offers luxury clothing for rent.

According to People Magazine, Hatzi and Kyrgios met in December 2021, after he visited her house to buy a mirror she was selling via Instagram. According to reports, for Hatzi, who was not even a big tennis fan, it was love at first sight. They made their relationship official in January 2022.

During her relationship with Kyrgios, the 25-year-old was always a supporting figure and traveled with him to many matches. When Kyrgios returned to court after a seven-month hiatus due to injuries at the 2022 US Open Mixed Madness Charity, Hatzi was by his side supporting him, South China Morning Post reported.

In 2023, there were rumors of engagement, but when Hatzi appeared on the Australian talk show The Morning Show, she denied the rumor and stated,
