Dasha Nekrasova is a Belarusian-American podcaster, filmmaker, and actress. Her fame came as a result of her acting as Comfrey on the HBO TV series Succession and as a co-host of her own podcast, Red Scare. In November 2025, the career of her career underwent a significant shift when she lost her talent agency, Gersh, and was dropped from a film project.

The response was following an interview she had with far-right commentator Nick Fuentes on Red Scare. The episode was published online one month ago; however, it did not start gaining massive popularity until then. When the number of viewers doubled, the number of people discussing the video and its critics also rose.

In 2021, her debut film as a director, The Scary of Sixty-First, was awarded the Best First Feature Award at the Berlin International Film Festival. This assisted her in establishing a better presence within the film circles.

Another audience that Dasha Nekrasova cultivated is the Red Scare, the podcast she co-hosts with Anna Khachiyan. Culture, politics, media, and social issues are discussed in the show.

On the podcast episode with Fuentes, she said, “I think open conversations can help people understand ideas, even when the ideas are hard.”

Her acting career continued during this time, with roles in Materialists, Wobble Palace, and other indie projects. Her talent agency, Gersh, terminated its association with her. Shortly afterwards, producers on Iconoclast withdrew her contract before signature. It was reported that the decision was connected to the podcast directly.

During the recording, Dasha Nekrasova commented, “People should hear ideas and decide for themselves. I am not telling anyone what to think.”
