As per People, Tracey Edmonds didn’t expect to find herself in a relationship with a football legend.

"I would've never imagined in a million years that our paths would cross and that we'd end up in a relationship together," she said.

The two first met in 2012 at a film premiere party. Edmonds, who helped produce the movie, was being honored that evening, while Deion Sanders attended as a guest. Though their exchange was short, Deion Sanders was intrigued. He later asked a friend to get her business card and reached out a few months later, initially keeping things all business.

"I started off thinking I was just going to produce [Deion’s Family Playbook]," Edmonds explained.

Their first private meeting was centered on developing Sanders’ vision for a reality TV series.

"But as I started working with Deion on the show, we grew quite fond of each other and ended up dating." she shared.

The couple got engaged in February 2019.

"We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we've shared together."

According to People, Deion Sanders and Karrueche Tran sparked dating speculation after the actress was seen by his side during a serious medical procedure.

Tran featured prominently in the first installment of For Your Glory, a video series documenting Sanders’ recovery from bladder cancer. The emotional footage, produced by Well Off Media, the company run by Sanders’ son, Deion Sanders Jr., showed the 57-year-old Hall of Famer preparing for surgery to remove his bladder.

Throughout the 18-minute video, Tran appeared visibly emotional. In one scene, she paused through tears while explaining the gravity of Sanders’ condition.

“We are dealing with bladder cancer,” she said, moments before Sanders was taken into surgery.
“He is having his bladder removed and they will create a new bladder with one of his intestines,” she continued.

Tran explained that the surgery offered the best chance for Sanders’ full recovery, noting,

“Because it fully removes the cancer to ensure it doesn't come back, because it was close to his muscle.”

After the procedure, the mood lifted. Tran was seen chatting with hospital staff, smiling as she gently declined an offer for ice water.

Deion Sanders opens up about possibly expanding his family

Deion Sanders is a father of five, and possibly looking to expand his family once again. The former NFL star shares his first two children, Deiondra and Deion Jr., with his first wife Carolyn Chambers. His three younger children, Shilo, Shedeur, and daughter Shelomi, were born during his marriage to Pilar Sanders.

Now 57 and also a grandfather, Sanders discussed the idea of having another child during an episode of We Got Time Today. In a conversation with Nick Cannon, he revealed he was thinking about reversing his vasectomy.

Motivated by Cannon’s outlook on parenting and his biblical reference to “be fruitful and multiply,” Sanders quipped, “I may have one more in me.” He went on to explain that his time with his grandson Snow, who was born on Sanders’ own birthday, has played a big role in his thinking.
