Who are Denise Richards' children? All about actress' daughters amid divorce from estranged husband Aaron Phypers

Actor Aaron Phypers, married to Denise Richards, filed for divorce on July 7, 2025. Phypers submitted the request at the Los Angeles County Superior Court following six years of marital bliss. They got hitched in 2018 in Malibu.

Although Phypers and Richards do not share any kids, she is a mother to three children. From her previous marriage with actor Charlie Sheen, she welcomed two children, Sami Sheen and Lola Rose Sheen.

Her youngest child, Eloise Joni Richards, came to her through an adoption process in 2011. Speaking to People Magazine in 2019, Richards said:

“I'm most proud of raising my kids, especially in a time that is very different from how I was raised. It's extremely hard to keep children grounded. This is not an easy time to grow up.”

Denise Richards’ eldest daughter, Sami Sheen, was born on March 9, 2004. The actress has been supportive of Sami’s decision, especially when she joined OnlyFans. In an Instagram post from 2022, she wrote:

“I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has. And I also can't be judgemental of her choices. I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn't be either. And to be able to ignore the negativity at her age? It took me many years & I still sometimes struggle.”

Wishing Sami Sheen on her 21st birthday on March 10, 2025, Denise Richards expressed how proud she felt. She mentioned that Sami had appeared on the cover of People magazine as a baby.

On June 1, 2005, Lola Rose Sheen was born, a year after Sami Sheen's birth. However, while she was with Lola, Denise Richards filed for separation from Charlie Sheen. Lola likes horse-riding and music. Sharing a photo of Lola on her birthday this year, Denise wrote:

“Happy birthday @lola__sheen !!!! I can’t believe you’re 20. Little miss sunshine, you light up every room. You’re an amazing sister, daughter, & friend. I love you so much and couldn’t be more proud of you. I love you.”

In May 2011, Denise Richards adopted Eloise Joni Richards. Speaking to People Magazine in 2012 about the decision, she shared that she always wanted a big family and didn’t feel finished having kids. After her divorce, she thought she would eventually remarry and grow her family.

However, since that didn’t happen at the time, she chose to expand her family. She mentioned later that Aaron Phypers also wanted to be Eloise's legal guardian. Richards’ youngest daughter has a health issue. She said:

“She wasn't able to sit up on her own for a very long time, and she didn't start walking until she was 2, and that was with physical therapy.”
