Who is Deonte Nash? All about Cassie’s stylist following harrowing testimony at Diddy trial

Fashion stylist Deonte Nash testified in court on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the sex trafficking trial against Sean "Diddy" Combs. He once again returned to court on Thursday, May 29, 2025, for further cross-examination. Music mogul Diddy, who is currently being held at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, was officially charged with five different serious crimes, including sex trafficking by force, transportation for purposes of prostitution, coercion or fraud, and conspiracy to commit racketeering.

However, Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all five charges. The 55-year-old celebrated rapper and record producer, Combs, could face at least 15 years in prison or lifetime imprisonment if he is found guilty on all the charges. However, Diddy's and his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura's long-time stylist, Deonte Nash, appeared in court to testify against the prominent rapper and revealed some disturbing details.

The Los Angeles-based celebrity fashion stylist Deonte Nash has been collaborating with Diddy and his ex-wife, Cassie Ventura, for several years. He has also worked with the It Won't Stop hitmaker Sevyn Streeter. Popular blogger and author of The Bomb Life, Claire Sulmers, has also collaborated with Nash and has become a fan of his work ever since. In one of her blogs, she mentioned Deonte Nash's exceptional skill and his professionalism when it comes to work, which fascinated her.

Deonte Nash, who testified against Diddy in court, designed Cassie Ventura's wedding dress

While the celebrity stylist, Deonte Nash, took the stand in court to testify against Sean "Diddy" Combs during his sex trafficking trial on May 28 and 29, he revealed how he had witnessed Diddy abuse Cassie, verbally as well as physically, when they were in a relationship. According to the BBC, he shared details of how once Combs beat Ventura brutally, she had to get stitches on her forehead.

While testifying, Nash also revealed that Diddy used to threaten Cassie, claiming he would ruin her career and would release explicit sex tapes of her having "freak-offs" with male escorts.

As per the BBC, Nash, who is pretty close to Ventura and is also close friends, met her in 2008, when he was just starting out as a professional stylist. Not to mention, when Cassie and her husband, Alex Fine, were getting married in 2019, he was one of the stylists who designed her wedding dress. She was pregnant with their first child at the time.

According to Vogue, Cassie and Alex had their wedding in Malibu. While she was seven months pregnant at the time, it was difficult for her to find the right wedding dress, so she decided to collaborate with Deonte Nash and Marni Senofonte for her perfect wedding dress. Cassie said,

"Melissa was a magician with the planning. Being that I was seven months pregnant, it wasn’t easy finding a dress in such a short time frame, so I worked with my stylists and friends Marni Senofonte and Deonte Nash to create a custom look with our tailor Arturo and his daughter Christina from Rancho Tailors."

While Ventura wanted her dress to be perfect, she spent over a week getting the dress made. Cassie and Alex got married on August 28, 2019, and share three children, two daughters and a son, whom they welcomed recently.
