About Diane Lane's daughter- Eleanor
After graduating from college, Eleanor pursued a career in journalism. She has reportedly freelanced for prestigious publications like Vogue and VICE. Lambert decided to focus her writings on attending rallies and events in Washington D.C. and New York City.
Eleanor tried modeling for a while but decided to pivot to acting in her mid-20s. Her acting projects include short films and plays such as Rainfall and The Band. While the breakthrough in her career came from the movie Time Now in 202, she has also acted in a few episodes of the television series FBI: Most Wanted.
Eleanor mentioned in an interview that her parents were always supportive of her acting. However, Diane always tried to keep her out of the spotlight so that she could live a normal life and make her own choices on growing up. Diane also advises her daughter on acting.
Diane recalled how "easy" it used to be to make fun of Eleanor's teenage years when she appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show in May 2024.
"I loved her so much and she loved me but it was so much fun to embaress her because it was so easy to do at that age. She just kept saying the same phrase over and over to me and I said, ‘I’m gonna rename you, I’m gonna legally change your name to, God mom stop.' " Said Daine.

"Once you are a parent, you don’t feel like you have to pretend as much. I understand the need for each generation to have its own set of identity that feels as though it cannot be understood by the previous one. So with great patience and hope as a parent, you’re going to be able to bridge the quote on quote ‘divide.’” Lane told the publication

“But at the same time, I think every 80 years, we achieve a blind spot to our own history, which is probably why we tend to repeat it in an 80-year cycle where each generation seems surprised. And yet if you look at history, it’s not so surprising.” Dane elaborated on generations and reliving history.
