Who is DJ Mustard engaged to? Ex-wife Chanel Thierry slams the record producer in recent posts

Record producer DJ Mustard’s ex-spouse, Chanel Thierry, has made some accusations against him. Thierry’s claims come after Mustard announced his engagement to girlfriend Brittany Stroud. On July 20, Thierry wrote a few posts on Threads, which she further shared on her Instagram stories.

She stated she had never met anyone as bitter as the person she had to deal with, which seemed to be directed at DJ Mustard. She shared that she asked for her child's football schedule, but instead of answering, the person updated their relationship status.

Thierry claimed she didn’t care if they were engaged and even congratulated them on their engagement. She explained that she had been asking about her child’s affairs, but was met with ignorance, which she found annoying. In another post, Chanel Thierry wrote:

“Your fiance riding around with our son not in a car seat, I say something about this and once again it's met with an Ignore. My child's safety will never in life be taken lightly. EVERYONE will respect me as those kids mother or I'll take it each and every time! Now run me that football schedule.”

This was followed by another post, where she wrote:

“Now please find something safe to do besides playing with me on the back end yet presenting yourself happy to the world. CLOWN.”

DJ Mustard and Chanel Thierry got hitched in 2020, but they separated two years later. They are parents to three children. Meanwhile, the record producer and Brittany Stroud welcomed a daughter in 2024.

What did Chanel Thierry say about DJ Mustard having cancer?

According to an exclusive report by TMZ, when DJ Mustard and Chanel Thierry’s divorce was finalized, Thierry was set to receive $24,500 in child support, although she had requested $80K. The divorce settlement also mandated that she receive $315,000 as fixed spousal support. The report mentions that the reason for their divorce was incompatible differences.

In 2024, after the news of their divorce afloat on the internet, Thierry made a few statements, alleging that DJ Mustard had feigned cancer so that she wouldn’t walk out of their marriage.

Per Rap Up, in one of her posts on Threads, Chanel Thierry wrote that despite her decision to stay silent about the matter, she couldn’t stop herself from speaking out. Mentioning their car, she wrote:

“Now, the week I turn the car back to its owner, all of my business is in the blogs. Of course, I know these things are public info. The fact I knew [you] would be so petty to let everyone know you ‘took the car’ and acted as if my [backed child support] was payment for the car, and it’s not. It’s just that, backed [child support].”

She alleged that the record producer and his PR team have been trying to make her look bad for two years and were still doing it. She asked him to leave her alone and stop using her for attention and record sales.

Chanel Thierry reportedly shared screenshots of texts where DJ Mustard said thinking about cancer was hard for him and that he felt lost and helpless. According to Hot97, in another message, he asked, "Who would do that to someone who could have cancer?”
