Who is Ella Bleu Travolta? All about John Travolta’s daughter set to star in Black Tides

Ella Bleu Travolta, who is the daughter of John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston, is now set to star alongside her father in the new action thriller, "Black Tides." According to People Magazine, this is not the first time, the twenty-five year old has been cast opposite her father. Ella Bleu Travolta previously starred in "Old Dogs," in 2019 and as a child actor in "The Poison Rose" alongside John Travolta.

According to Deadline, the announcement for the film, "Black Tides," which was made on Monday, October 20, will also feature Melissa Barerra as the estranged daughter to Bill Pierce, played by John Travolta. The other actors in the main cast include Spanish actor Álvaro Mel and child actor Dylan Torell. The movie, which is being directed by Renny Harlin, follows the complicated relationship between Pierce and his daughter, who find themselves on a boat along with Pierce's grandson when they are attacked by orcas during a family trip off the coast of Gibraltar

Ella Bleu Travolta, who is the eldest daughter of actress Kelly Preston and actor John Travolta, was born on April 3, 2000, in California. According to People Magazine, Ella Travolta has been inclined towards performing from a young age and often took part in home play productions that she conceptualized with her friends. In a 2023 interview with the outlet, Ella Bleu Travolta recalled how her passion for entertainment inspired her to follow in her parents' footsteps. She said:

"Ever since I was little, I've really loved singing and performing — whether it was acting, dancing, singing."

In 2009, Ella's elder brother, Jett Travolta, passed away at the age of sixteen after suffering a seizure following an accident while on vacation. Just a year later, in November 2010, her parents welcomed their third child, Benjamin Travolta. Ella Bleu Travolta and her younger brother have maintained a close relationship over the years, with Ella often posting pictures of him to celebrate his birthday.

In 2020, Ella Bleu Travolta and her family suffered another tragedy when her mother, Kelly Preston, passed away from breast cancer in July, at the age of fifty-seven. Since then, Ella has rountinely shared pictures of her mother in honor of her memory, particularly on Mother's Day.

According to her IMDB profile, Ella, has appeared in five acting projects, that include "Get Lost," and "Nice People" among others. She is also a model, who walked the runway at New York Fashion Week for Karl Lagerfeld back in 2022.

Ella Bleu Travolta, is also an accomplished musician in her own right, having released her debut single, "Dizzy" in 2022. In an interview with People Magazine, she revealed what inspired her to finally release her own music, and said:

"About two years ago at the beginning of the pandemic, I was like, 'Oh, I have some ideas for songs that I've just recorded as voice memos. I should try finishing them. So I started completing those songs and writing them. I was like, 'Oh, I really like this.'"

At the moment, not much is known about Ella Travolta's role in the upcoming thriller "Black Tides," which is aldready in production.
