Johnny Knoxville, star of "Jackass," announced through his Instagram account that he has tied the knot to Emily Ting. The 54-year-old got married to his longtime costume designer girlfriend over the weekend. Their wedding was small and attended by close friends and family. He took to Instagram, where he raved about his new bride:

"It seems I have had a lot of news lately but there is no news bigger than this…..Today Emily and I got married and I’m the luckiest and happiest fella in the universe."

The wedding was decorated with pink and yellow roses, which showed the couple's playful character. Johnny Knoxville was seen donning a denim-blue velvet tuxedo while his newlywed, Ting, was spotted wearing a baby blue minidress with a big yellow colored bow.

Their dog, Bucket, was also present for the ceremony and praised the minister. Knoxville wrote:

"Bucket is pretty happy to as you can see from the pictures. It was a small ceremony with family, friends, and THE best minister ever. Thank you John Waters we love you so. Ok I’m getting off Instagram now because it’s our wedding night😉, but I wanted everyone to know. Love to everybody, wahoooo!!!👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻💒❤️❤️❤️"

The marriage was conducted by cult legend and filmmaker John Waters, who is best known for Hairspray, Pink Flamingos and Cry-Baby.

The wedding's announcement was a surprise to many, to both fans and celebrities, who then flooded the comment section under his new post. Musician Billy Strings wrote:

“Oh whaaaat?! Congrats!!!!! ❤️❤️”

While actor Benjamin Pajak commented:

“Congratulations!!❤️❤️❤️”

More about Johnny Knoxville's new wife, Emily Ting

Costume designer and filmmaker Emily Ting was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and has been living in the US since her family immigrated. She obtained her degree from New York University and is currently working in Los Angeles.

Besides her work in costume design, Ting has established herself as an award-winning writer, director, and producer, according to her IMDb biography.

She started her filmmaking career with the short film The Distance Between, which took home the award for Best Short Film at the 2013 Omaha Film Festival. Go Back to China, a 2019 dramedy, won Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking for the Seattle International Film Festival.

She is also known for her work as a costume designer on Knoxville's 2022 film "Jackass Forever." She posted a photo of Johnny Knoxville being bucked off a bull on Instagram in July 2021:

“I got to dress some awesome people in fun costumes to get very hurt. Truly my dream job. October 22. It’s gonna be good. More stills on the @jackass page. #jackassforever ❤️”

There are no details on when the couple started dating each other, but they were spotted together for the first time in 2022.

New chapter for the "Jackass" actor

This was not the first time Johnny Knoxville had taken the vow. He was first married to fashion designer Melanie Clapp and shares a daughter with her, Madison, who is 29 years old. After separating from her in 2007, he then married Naomi Nelson, with whom he shares two children: son Rocko, who is 15 years old and daughter Arlo, who is 13 years old. He then separated from Nelson in 2022 and is now married to Emily Ting.

Despite performing physically demanding stunts, it looks like Johnny Knoxville found his peace in his relationship with Ting, as he posted on his Instagram earlier in August:

"Nothing screams love like non-judgmentally pulling the hair out of my big ol' ears on a Sunday morning. Not only that she thinks it's fun!! ❤️."

Johnny Knoxville is now happily married to Ting, as his caption states:

"I’m the luckiest and happiest fella in the universe."
