Who are Este Haim’s parent? All about family as musician ties the knot with tech entrepreneur

The bass guitarist and singer of the pop-rock band Haim, Este Haim, gained a lot of attention on the internet after she got married on New Year's Eve, as per People Magazine.

The 39-year-old musician, who formed the band Haim with her two other sisters, Alana and Danielle, married Jonathan Levin, a tech entrepreneur.

Este Haim's wedding, which took place in California, was attended by several high-profile guests and celebrities, including her close friend Taylor Swift, who is also a bride-to-be, as she got engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in August last year.

According to People Magazine, Este Haim shared the news of her engagement to Jonathan Levin on social media in February 2025. She took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself with a diamond ring on her finger and wearing a t-shirt that had "I'm Taken" written on it. Check out Este's Instagram post below:

Este, along with her Danielle and Alana, has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Foo Fighters, Lizzo, and Steve Nicks. They have also collaborated with artists like Lorde and Taylor Swift. According to the outlet, Este Haim's parents, Donna and Mordechai 'Moti' Haim, are also passionate musicians, besides being an actress and footballer, respectively.

Interestingly, Este's parents, when she and her other sisters were quite young, formed a family band, known as Rockinhaim. Donna and Mordechai took their daughters for piano lessons and even taught them how to play different musical instruments. The Licorice Pizza actress, Alana, in a 2012 interview with The Guardian, said:

"It was the best school. To learn songs, we'd have to record them off the radio to cassette tape and then press pause and play for hours to learn all the chords and lyrics by ear. By the end we knew every chord progression out there."

As Este Haim tied the knot with tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin on New Year's Eve, before her wedding, she decided to document the final fitting for her wedding dress with Vogue, alongside both her sisters. They visited the Paris Louis Vuitton studio for fittings and a trial for the wedding ceremony. Este, in a conversation with Vogue, said:

"I’ve been looking forward to this day since I was 5. I had this vision of me, coming down a spiral staircase ... in this giant ballroom gown, and then my fiancé, [my] husband, would be at the bottom and grab my hand."
