The tragic death of Fede Dorcaz

Fede Dorcaz, who had shifted from Spain to Mexico for his Latino pop music career, was shot and killed in Mexico City on October 9, 2025, in what police have called an attempted robbery.

Fede Dorcaz was only 29 when his untimely departure came. According to the Mexico City Public Security Secretariat (SSC), Dorcaz was shot in the neck during the incident in the Miguel Hidalgo district close to the Periférico ring road. The police believe that the motive appears to be robbery.

According to surveillance footage, two individuals on motorcycles were seen fleeing the scene. The footage is being used to identify the individuals. Dorcaz had just finished rehearsal for the dancing competition program Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy, which he and Mariana were scheduled to participate in.

The television network, Hoy, had confirmed his passing and extended its condolences to his family and Mariana. The translated post reads:
