Gary Busey, who was accused of groping more than one woman back in 2022 during a photo session at the a convention, has now been sentenced to two years of probation. According to The New York Post, Busey, who has been married twice, first to actress Judy Helkenberg and later to actresss Tiani Warden, was sentanced during a virtual court session by the criminal presiding judge Gwendolyn Blue.
Gary Busey, who is eighty one years old, refused to speak during the hearing, following his attorney's advice. The incident took place at the Monster Mania convention held at the DoubleTree Hotel in New Jersey.
According to ABC 6, after the incident, which he had initially denied, the "Lethal Weapon" actor was charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact, one count of harrasment, and another charge of attempted sexual contact. He later accepted a plea deal in which he pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sexual contact, while the other charges were dismissed.

Gary Busey was first married to Judy Helkenberg, from 1968 until their divorce in 1990. Not much is known about their relationship, the couple welcomed one child, a son, Jake Busey, during the course of their twenty two years of marriage.
According to her IMDB profile, Judy Lynn Helkenberg was born on January 2, 1944, in Coffeyville, Kansas. She initially pursued a career as a secretary and later apeared in several movies like "Band Camp," and "History's Mysteries." In his book "Buseyisms: Gary Busey's Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth" the Oscar nominated actor credited Helkenberg for helping him start his career. In an excerpt obtained by Amo Mama, Busey wrote:
"To my first wife, Judy Lynn Helkenberg, who, in every way, helped me get my career started, thank you."
Following his divorce from Helkenberg, Gary Busey was in a short relationship with Tracy Hutchinson, with whom he welcomed his second child, Electra "Ellie" Busey. He later tied the knot with actress Tiani Warden, with whom he had a twenty three year age difference. The couple married in 1996 and were together for five years, until their divorce in 2001.
According to her IMDB profile, Tiani Warden was born in Santa Monica on September 9, 1967. Not much is known about her early life, but she pursued a career as an actress, appearing in movies such as, "The Chain," "The Stewardess," "Plato's Run," " Rough Riders," and others.
According to TMZ, Tiani Warden passed away on November 4, 2019, from an accidental cocain oveerdose while being held at the Hunt County Detention Center in Texas. Her death, at the age of fifty two, was not revealed until January of the following year. She had been previously arrested on November 3 for public intoxication after allegedly being found lying in a ditch.
A press release issued by the authorities, was obtained by KLTV. It read:
"On November 4th, 2019 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Ms. Warden was found unresponsive in her cell. The detention officers and medical staff on duty immediately began life-saving measures until AMR arrived on scene and took over. Ms. Warden was transported by AMR to Hunt Regional Medical Center continuing life-saving measures during transport.”
After his divorce from Warden, the "Point Break" actor was in a relationship with author and actress Steffanie Sampson from 2008 until their break up in 2021. The couple have continued to maintain a good relationship as they co parent their son, whom they welcomed in 2010.
As per reports, Gary Busey has a forty five day window to appeal his sentance regarding the 2022 groping incident.
