Who is Greta Gerwig married to? Taylor Swift says Travis Kelce thought the filmmaker was Hugh Grant's wife during Eras tour

Greta Gerwig is married to filmmaker Noah Baumbach. The two tied the knot in 2023 after dating for 12 years and have two sons together. During an October 8 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Taylor Swift revealed that her fiance Travis Kelce thought the Barbie director was Hugh Grant's wife at the Eras Tour.

In June 2024, Hugh Grant attended an Eras Tour concert in London where he ran into Kelce in the VIP tent. Taylor recalled a conversation she had with Kelce about the concert and said:

"Like, you didn't mention Greta. Did you meet Greta? And he's like, yeah, 'I, um, I did, I think I like. I think I told an annoying joke that she's heard too many times.' And I was like, 'Okay, well what did you say?' He's like, 'Well, I walked up to her and I was like, 'I love Barbie, I'm just Ken too, and then I pointed to you.'"

Swift then added that Travis said Greta was talking to Hugh Grant all night, and that he thinks that the two might be doing a movie together. Taylor mentioned that she pulled a video of Greta on her phone and Travis said "That's not Greta." Swift added that she put the two and two together and realised that Travis mistook Hugh Grant's wife Anna for Greta Gerwig.

Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach relationship explored

Barbie co-writers Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach tied the knot on December 19, 2023. The two first met on Baumbach's Greenberg set in 2010. Between 2011-2012, the two began working on Frances ha, and also landed more collaborations in 2015-2018.

In January, 2018, the two made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Golden Globe Awards. They also attended the Academy Awards together in March, 2018. A year later, the two welcomed their first child together. While speaking to Vogue at the time, Greta opened up about being a mother and said:

"I was always scared about being a mother in terms of what it would mean for what I was able to do."

In July, 2019, Greta and Noah announced their collaboration with Barbie. In December, 2019, Noah opened up about working with Greta while speaking to Vogue and mentioned that the "pleasure of writing" together "seeps into everything."

In December, 2022, the two announced that they are expecting their second child, a year before they officially tied the knot.
