Fresh off the high of winning Game 1 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS), Haeley Snell, wife of LA Dodgers' Blake Snell has shared a glimpse of the pitcher's bygone rap career.
Posting a reel on her story, the video has Snell rapping to his song Rising Stars, wearing a Tampa Ray Bays jersey. The clip Haeley posted on her Instagram story,
The original recording of the song can still be found on YouTube,
The video, though uploaded in 2019, was shot back in 2012. The top comment on the video left by one @reesejawn3708 even refers to their Game 1 victory,
“Who's after NLCS Game 1?”

Coincidentally, Blake was selected by the Rays in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
Who is Haeley Snell?
When Blake and Haeley Snell made their relationship Instagram-official in late 2020, they offered only a glimpse of their romance to the fans, setting the tone for a relationship largely kept private. While their exact meet-cute has been under wraps, the couple dated quietly for years before gradually sharing more of their life together with fans.

After their four-year long courtship, Blake proposed to Haeley in December 2024, and the couple tied the know just weeks later in January 2025 in an intimate church wedding.
As a graduate of the University of Washington, Haeley earned her master's degree from USC's Annenberg school in 2020. With a background in communication, Healey Snell eventually leaned into entrepreneurship and launched her mobile jewelry business in October 2024, called Goldilocks Charm Bar.
The couple share two sons, Kaedyn, born in June last year, and a son born in August 2025. The couple is yet to announce the name for the second child.
Notedly, Haeley has always been a steady presence during Blake's move across teams - Padres to the Giants and now the Dodgers. MLB's star pitcher has even credited his wife for their 'collective' decision to sign for the Dodgers.
Riding high off the success of his Game 1 performance, Blake and the Dodgers defeated a determined Milwaukee Brewers in their Game 2 with a score of 5-1.
Dodgers star Freddie Freeman sang high praises of Blake Snell’s performance and even opined there wasn't a 'more dominant' postseason performance “off the top of my head”.
