Model Hana Cross had carved out her place in the British modeling scene long before her name started trending again.
She had shown up in magazines like Wonderland and appeared in a mix of commercial shoots, something Hollywood Life pointed out when highlighting her steady run of paid partnerships. Brands like Gucci and Valentino had tapped her for their fragrance campaigns.
Her interests stretched beyond modeling. Back in December 2020, she released a debut single titled “Once or Twice,” an emotional pop track in which she unpacked the kind of heartbreak most listeners recognized immediately. One of the key lines lingered:
“Though you break my heart, I wanna say/I’ll walk away, but I’m still in love.”
Hana Cross's relationship with Brooklyn Beckham had also drawn coverage. Their 2019 relationship played out partly through their work; Beckham took the photograph that ended up on her Wonderland cover that June. She acknowledged the collaboration with a caption that read,
“So excited about this @wonderland cover shot by my talented boyfriend @brooklynbeckham wearing the amazing new collection [from] @victoriabeckham.”
The couple eventually broke up later that year. Her name returned to headlines after she was spotted alongside Peregrine Pearson, who previously dated Sophie Turner.
Peregrine Pearson was seen kissing Hana Cross during intimate London evening

According to the Daily Mail, Peregrine Pearson, who previously dated Sophie Turner, has sparked a new relationship with Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend, Hana Cross. Their evening together at a west London bar on Tuesday ended up drawing attention after the couple was seen sharing a passionate kiss.
Witnesses saw them outside the venue, standing close, talking quietly, and slipping into light laughter. Hana Cross smiled at him several times before the moment turned intimate and they leaned in for a kiss. Pearson had long carried a notable family legacy. As the eldest son of Michael Pearson, the 4th Viscount Cowdray, he was the heir to an estate tied both to a former film producer and to a sizeable portion of the Pearson media empire. That estate included the Cowdray Park Polo Club, a sprawling property that features ten pitches and plays host to more than 450 matches every year.
How lockdown became the turning point in Hana Cross’s move into music

A Daily Mail piece dated December 2, 2020, shed light on how Hana Cross used the quiet of lockdown to redirect her energy. With the fashion world largely paused, she leaned into music, teaming up with producer Matt Cardle and music executive Jamie Shepherd. Her debut single took shape during that period, and she began building out additional songs intended for her EP. Reflecting on the track, she shared her hopes openly.
“I really hope people love the track as much as I've enjoyed making it,” she said.
Music, Hana Cross explained, wasn’t a sudden pivot but something that had been part of her life for years.
“I've always had a passion for music and used to write song lyrics and poetry as a way of coping with the stress and anxiety that we all experience at times.”
Hana Cross added that the sudden halt in modeling gave her room to revisit old drafts and melodies.
“When the pandemic hit most of my modelling jobs were put on hold, giving me the time to pick up my guitar again and work on the songs that had been sat in the notes of my phone for the last couple of years.”
Lockdown shaped the emotional landscape of the project.
“Lockdown has been so difficult for everyone and writing has really helped me to stay positive and focused over the last few months,” she said.
Hana Cross admitted that making music under restrictions had required adjustments.
“Having to adapt to new ways of working to get the track finished has been a challenge. There have been plenty of Zoom sessions directly linked into the studio to try to keep the ball rolling, because a lot of the time I have had to work from home.”
She credited her collaborators with helping her translate early ideas into a finished track.
“I have also been fortunate enough to have friends in the industry. This was one of the first songs I wrote during lockdown and Matt and Jamie who produced Once or twice really encouraged me and understood my vision for the song, I really wanted to keep the music as raw and true to me as possible, while also recognising my own growth since the song was first written. I'm so excited for everyone to hear my first single,” she shared.
