Herleen Dulai was a 29-year-old Northern Californian woman whose cold-blooded murder in July 2020 left several people shocked. Her name was thrust back into the public sphere after former reality TV show star Ash Armand, her killer, was referenced in a federal case involving music mogul Sean Diddy Combs.

As troubling new allegations surface about the wild alleged sex parties tied to Combs, Armand’s history and his connection to Dulai have once more become the subject of scrutiny.

Herleen Kaur Dulai was born and raised in California. According to The Sun, she graduated with a degree in biological sciences from Temple University in Pennsylvania and moved to Las Vegas in 2019 to continue her studies.

Herleen Dulai was passionate about fitness and personal development, so she found a community at A.C.E. Fitness Gym, where she wound up working as a personal trainer. In her obituary, her friends and family described her as a peaceful spirit who had a contagious laugh and a deep love for children and animals.

"Her best friend was her golden retriever, Rustam; who had passed a few years ago. I hope she is snuggling him as you read this... But for those of you who knew her, were lucky enough to laugh until you peed your pants." The obituary read.

Herleen Dulai’s relationship with Ash Armand is still a bit mysterious. Armand at that time was best known for appearing on the Showtime series Gigolos, which ran from 2012 to 2016 and followed the lives of male escorts in Las Vegas.

At some point in mid-2020, Herleen and Armand met. According to The Sun, their relationship was not immediately clear, with speculations saying that she may be his personal trainer or a dog walker.

But their bond soon turned fatal in July 2020. Armand had called 911, reporting that Herleen Dulai was unresponsive after the pair had both ingested psychedelic mushrooms.

Herleen was found dead at his Las Vegas home by authorities. Her death was later ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner’s office, which cited blunt force trauma and strangulation. According to reports, she sustained serious injuries to her face and arms, and one piece of her tooth was found inside her stomach.

By 2024 Ash Armand was sentenced to 8 to 20 years in a Nevada prison after pleading guilty to charges of voluntary manslaughter and mayhem.

Armand gained attention again in 2025 when rapper 50 Cent mentioned him when discussing Diddy’s current legal problems. According to All Hiphop, the binder full of male escorts reportedly hired to attend Combs’ private parties was used as evidence in a federal trial. One such person that was confirmed was “Ash,” whom 50 Cent alleged was Armand.
