Jackie Christie has been married to Sacramento Kings head coach Doug Christie for 30 years. Hall of Fame NBA Forward Chris Webber addressed rumors of his involvement with Jackie after lies of a $4.6 million lawsuit questioning the paternity of Christie's child surfaced on the internet.

On June 10, Chris Webber took to social media to address the speculation and threatened legal consequences for those spreading false claims.

In a video, Webber can be heard saying,

"What's up, party people? Man, the internet is undefeated, huh? That's why I'm going to give this friendly reminder...you can't believe everything you read, see, or hear... especially when they're all lies. No proof, just made up lies.

He then added,

"If you have a platform and you have content with my name attached to lies, take it down now. To those that started the rumors, that started the lies, and continued to spread the lies...I dare you not to take it down. I dare you to repeat the lie. You are not going to defame my name. Ofcourse, the lawyers are in action...Of course, they are emotional and motivated."

While news reports about Chris Webber and Doug Christie have not been aired on the internet, Webber had earlier complimented Doug's defensive skills, saying that he was one of the few who had a good defense against Kobe Bryant.

Last month, during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Chris, while complimenting Doug, said,

"Kobe would make shot after shot, and Doug would play it correctly, hand in his face. I saw him tap Kobe on his head before and things like that, and it didn't stop him."

Webber's comments come before he slammed down online rumors of Doug's wife, Jackie Christie, who has been married to him for 30 years, cheating with Webber.

Doug and Jackie have been married for 26 years. The two are known for renewing their wedding vows annually. While speaking to E! News exclusively in 2022, Jackie opened up about the success behind their marriage saying,

"I would say communication and respect. You're gonna go through ups and downs in any relationship, but when you put each other first - and that means making sure that you wouldn't do to your partner what you wouldn't want them to do to you - if you keep those things in the forefront and have fun? It can go on and on and on."

The couple also shares three children.
